    I watched Manchester United’s training session at quite close quarters on Tuesday.

    Like his striking colleagues, Chido Obi did not impress. But he has scored plenty of goals at youth level and that will do his confidence no harm at all.

    It took over three-quarters of the trip but United have actually scored a goal.
