Championship leaders Ayr were flying early on thanks to Jamie Murhpy's close-range opener, but Accies produced an impressive first-half come back.
Oli Shaw's equaliser was followed up by Jamie Barjonas' stellar effort to put the visitors ahead at the break.
Aberdeen have certainly had the better of it, but they've been unable to find a way past Calum Ferrie so far.
The Queen's Park goalkeeper has made save after save, denying a few brilliant efforts.
The visitors have had a few chances themselves - Zak Rudden with the best of them - and will be delighted to go in level.
