Sometimes you get a drop off in performance after such a big result, as we saw last week [versus Man City], but I think that is where the 'Spursy' tag comes in.

They show what they are capable of and then the week after they are at home and you are thinking, "Go on, kick on", but they don't.

No disrespect to Leeds, but really hoping for a Newcastle win here, just to show Isak that they can do it without him

Burnley manager Scott Parker, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "My thoughts are I'm disappointed, gutted, but immensely proud of the team. Our reaction second half, I am proud.

"The way the game ends, it is the way the game has gone - quadruple checking every minute. The on field decision, the referee didn't give the foul. Then we have re-reffed it, VAR seeing a clear and obvious error. It's not the ref, it's a fella 200-odd miles away in a box. That's the way the game has gone.

"It's a sterile game, a long time ago when you had the passion and celebration - now you are standing around and waiting."

On what he changed at half-time: "We started really slowly, in the second half we were a threat and really deserving of the goals. I am proud of the group. Structurally we changed it, we could not land on second balls and gain any momentum. Our distances were a lot better in the second half."

  20. 'Grealish is making a big difference'published at 17:44 British Summer Time

    FT: Wolves 2-3 Everton

    Everton

Everton boss David Moyes to BBC Match of the Day: "Really pleased. We played really well, got an early goal. We limited them to few opportunities. But any away win is a good one and we are really pleased.

"We made it really hard, we gave two goals unlike what I expect of them.We let them back into it. We also had two or three opportunities to get a fourth goal. But it is a really good win."

On Jack Grealish: "I think Jack knows who he is. I am not taking any credit. He is making a big difference. Whether it is his assists, his presence, lots of things. So all credit to him. He is playing the minutes he may not have had in recent years. So he has three games in a week."

On ambitions for this season: "A club like Everton we always want to challenge for Europe. We haven't over recent years. But there is no point coming on here to just say we want to avoid relegation. So why not think that way? I have to be positive and give the supporters something to aim for."
