  1. 'Hull have to be quicker'published at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Hull City 0-0 Watford

    Peter Swan
Former Hull City player on BBC Radio Humberside

It is an open game of who is going to take the chance.

Hull have created two opportunities in the first 24 minutes. But Hull have to be quicker, as Watford are managing to get back and reset. By not having an extra touch it helps open up a team.

  2. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Hull City 0-0 Watford

Ryan Giles does exactly what about 10,000 Hull City fans tell him to do when he picks the ball up 35 yards from goal and pulls the trigger to shoooooot.

His low effort skids towards the near post at pace but Daniel Bachmann is across to gather with relative ease. Safe hands.

    Alex Mowatt (11 mins)

    West Brom are in front!

It's a big slice of luck but you could argue the hosts deserve it after a strong start to the game.

Alex Mowatt drills a volley into the ground from distance with excellent technique and it takes a wicked deflection off Josh Eccles on the way into the back of the net.

Sky Blues keeper Brad Collins was completely wrongfooted.

    Advantage Baggies.

  4. Postpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Millwall 0-0 Sheff Utd

George Saville is made of stern stuff and is seeking to run-off his knee discomfort.

Blades still bossing the ball but both sides piling forward given the slightest opportunity...

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Hull City 0-0 Watford

Inches away from a Hull opener.

Abu Kamara works some space on the right flank before bending in a curling cross with his left foot which is glanced on by the head of Regan Slater only for his effort to flash across the face of Daniel Bachmann's goal.

  6. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    West Brom 0-0 Coventry

There's a bit of a scramble in the Coventry penalty area as West Brom try to force it through.

The Baggies eventually recycle possession and Tom Fellows dinks another teasing ball across the face of goal but Sky Blues defender Bobby Thomas does brilliantly to get up and nod behind for a corner.

  7. Postpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Millwall 0-0 Sheff Utd

Painful one for Lions skipper George Saville who is down on the deck in some discomfort after seemingly jarring his knee as he returned to ground after jumping for a header.

He's a tough one too so this is not good news for Neil Harris.

  8. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    QPR 0-0 Oxford

QPR v Oxford match actionImage source, Getty Images

QPR are trying to launch long throws into the box at every opportunity but so far it's yet to pay dividends. A cagey affair in west London so far really.

The Hoops are unbeaten in four, while it's worth noting that Oxford are yet to win an away game in the league this season.

  9. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Hull City 0-0 Watford

They might be bottom but Hull are popping it about nicely when they get the chance to attack, confidence doesn't appear in short supply. Kasey Palmer in particular is to the fore in this one for the Tigers.

That said Watford have settled well, are bossing possession and look dangerous down both flanks on the break.

    Another good watch...

Plenty of chances at all five grounds, but a goal would be nice!

  11. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    West Brom 0-0 Coventry

Good start to this at The Hawthorns. West Brom work it well down the right-hand side and Tom Fellows dinks it to the back stick for Mikey Johnson... but he blazes high and wide over the bar.

    Chances for both sides already.

  12. Postpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Millwall 0-0 Sheff Utd

    Such a watchable game, this.

Casper de Norre just produced a lung-busting 50 yard dash to chase down the marauding Gus Hamer as the Blades sought to break from a Millwall corner and then pinched the ball back expertly before launching a break of his own, sending Duncan Watmore down the left flank.

He drove into the box before going down in a heap but referee Matt Donohue says it's a goal kick only.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    West Brom 0-0 Coventry

West Brom look up for this early doors. They're straight on the front and moving it about well in the opening two minutes.

But it's Coventry who break away for the first real chance through Norman Bassette.

One long ball goes over the Albion defence and Bassette cuts back inside but scuffs his effort straight at Baggies keeper Alex Palmer.

  14. 'Sky Blues can't settle for a draw'published at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    West Brom 0-0 Coventry

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

I personally would take a goalless draw and a point away from home against a side like this.

But the Sky Blues have to try and get a goal early doors, they can't settle for a draw.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Millwall 0-0 Sheff Utd

How? HOW have Sheffield United not scored?

Harrison Burrows whips in the most inviting cross you can imagine from the left, it beats everyone and is returned to the middle at the back stick by Alfie Gilchrist, Jes Rak-Sakyi can't get a touch on it, Gus Hamer does at the far post but can only lash back across goal, Lions keeper Lukas Jensen on the deck, with Callum O'Hare only able to turn the ball over the bar.

That's probably 3XG from one move, but the scoreboard still says 0-0.

  16. Hopefully West Brom will score more goalspublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    West Brom 0-0 Coventry

    Tony 'Bomber' Brown
West Brom's all-time leading goalscorer on BBC Radio WM

In the last game Callum Styles tried to get forward at every opportunity and he kept bombing on. It is great for the supporters to see, they have got something to get behind.

It has looked like West Brom are getting forward and putting teams under pressure and trying to get balls in the box and I've said it before: 'When you have just one and not two up front it can be a lonesome task'.

Now, you can see that Carlos Corberán has tweaked it and you have Karlan Grant playing a bit closer to Josh Maja and he has a bit more assistance up there.

So, hopefully as time goes by they can start scoring a few more goals.

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    West Brom 0-0 Coventry

We're just getting under way in our 20:00 GMT kick-off at The Hawthorns between West Brom and Coventry.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Cardiff 0-0 Preston

Jak Alnwick makes a great save in the Cardiff goal to deny Preston going ahead.

It's Josh Bowler again for the visitors who cuts inside from the right and tries to sneak it in at the near post with his left.

He can't quite generate enough power but it's a good stop by Alnwick.

  19. Postpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Hull City 0-0 Watford

Some ironic cheers from the home fans as Ivor Pandur the Hull keeper opts to launch a goal kick long, over the half-way line, rather than playing it square in his six yard box.

Tim Walter's scheme never had the home fans sitting too comfortably from restarts and they have played a part in their own downfall on plenty of occasions.

  20. One change for West Brom, two for Coventrypublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

West Brom starting line-up against CoventryImage source, BBC Sport

West Brom boss Carlos Corberan makes just the one change from the 2-2 draw at home to Sheffield United on Sunday.

Kyle Bartley is rested and drops to the bench after playing three games in eight days having not long returned from injury.

Mason Holgate starts at centre-back in his place.

    Coventry line-up against West Brom

Frank Lampard makes two changes for Coventry City from their 1-0 win at Millwall on Saturday for his third game in charge.

Josh Eccles is back in the midfield in place of Victor Torp, while Norman Bassette starts up front instead of Ellis Simms.

Both Torp and Simms are among the subs, as is Brandon Thomas-Asante on his first return to his former club.
