  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:54 British Summer Time 24 October

    TNS 2-0 Astana

Declan McManus makes way for 20-year-old Jake Canavan.

He has been patiently waiting for a break in play to come on and has finally got his moment to notch up a European appearance. It's going to be short and sweet for the youngster.

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:54 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Man Utd

It's one win in seven games in all competitions for Manchester United.

  4. CLOSE!published at 21:54 British Summer Time 24 October

    Tottenham 1-0 AZ Alkmaar

A lovely move by Tottenham but Destiny Udogie pokes the ball narrowly wide!

Hang on, he may have a penalty here after being caught late by goalkeeper Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro.

There's a lengthy wait for the VAR review... not given! Owusu-Oduro is perhaps fortunate, he was quite late there and not exactly in control.

  5. Postpublished at 21:53 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Man Utd

The free-kick comes to nothing and this incident-packed game is petering out.

  6. Postpublished at 21:52 British Summer Time 24 October

    TNS 2-0 Astana

Oooof. That would've been some way to finish this game. Leo Smith curls one towards the top corner and it's not far away but it was always rising. He's had a great game in the middle of the park.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:52 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Man Utd

Amad Diallo is FLATTENED by Mert Muldur who rightly gets a yellow card. Free-kick to United in a decent position.

  8. Postpublished at 21:51 British Summer Time 24 October

    Tottenham 1-0 AZ Alkmaar

Another late challenge on Brennan Johnson, this time by substitute Dave Kwakman who earns a booking, runs the clock down a fraction more.

Johnson has barely brushed himself down before he's fouled by Kwakman again! The AZ man needs to be very careful now.

The problem with us United fans is that certain sections are rather entitled. We had not won a trophy in five years before Erik ten Hag turned up. Surely two trophies while rebuilding is nothing short of sensational?

    Antony looks in real discomfort.

He has been on the pitch less than five minutes and that looks like another one which will be added to Erik ten Hag's length injury list.

  12. Postpublished at 21:49 British Summer Time 24 October

    Tottenham 1-0 AZ Alkmaar

    Clive Allen

Mikey Moore's work is done and the teenager rightly receives a standing ovation for his efforts this evening.

Wilson Odobert is introduced for the remaining few minutes.

Sho: Amad Diallo should force a move in January. He deserves better than how he's been treated by Erik ten Hag in the past 12 months. A talented player who deserves more.

  16. Postpublished at 21:48 British Summer Time 24 October

    Fenerbahce 1-1 Man Utd

These are not good scenes for Erik ten Hag.

Antony has his head in his hands as he is carried off on a stretcher.

The United boss will be hoping it's not as serious as it looks.

    Rene Meulensteen
Former Manchester United coach on BBC Radio 5 Live

The academy over the last couple of years have certainly brought a number of young talents.

The thing that you're always looking for is when they come into the first-team fold, they're able to compete and put the senior professionals under pressure and that's exactly what they're developing through the academy system at Spurs.
