    Max Verstappen is absolutely flying, fastest of anybody in the first and middle sector. He goes fastest into the 1:15s. That was a mighty lap.

    Oscar Piastri has put down a fantastic lap in the McLaren. It's not quite enough to knock Max Verstappen off top spot, but the Australian is only 0.015 seconds away from the three-time world champion's marker.

    Everyone is on out laps, preparing the tyres, getting things up to temperature, making sure breaks are in the right temperature window as well. Just getting everything set for that one flyer where they really get to test these conditions in their cars.

    The Dutch fans, decked out in orange ponchos, is able to beat Lewis Hamilton's marker in his upgraded Red Bull. The reigning world champion has clocked a 1:15.770.

    The Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton is flying the flag for the Silver Arrows in qualifying now. The seven-time world champion is the next driver to fire up his car for a hot lap.

    "Why are we not putting enough fuel in the car to complete the session?" said the Briton.
