    McIlroy -14 (9)

Hmmm, it's a really heavy lie for McIlroy at the 10th and he can't muscle the ball back to the flag.

A birdie putt, but nowhere near as close as he wanted.

    McIlroy -14 (9)

Rory McIlroy loses his drive to the right on 10.

Tree trouble. He's out with what looks like a rescue wood and tries a big left-to-right slider.

It scurries up the fairway and nestles in the rough about 50 yards short of the green.

It's a par-five remember so he should still have a look at birdie.

    Saddier -14, Hidalgo -14 (9)

Adrien Saddier can't bounce back from that bogey on the eighth and must settle for par on nine.

He's fairly unflappable but he's starting to look slightly frustrated now.

And there's a BIG punch of the air from Angel Hidalgo. A birdie and he makes it a five-way tie!

    This is getting seriously good.

There are two par-fives in the last three holes. They're going to have a big say on the outcome.

    McIlroy -13 (8)

Rory McIlroy has gotten lucky down the right of the ninth.

He draws a good lie and it's even on a slight upslope, so he'll be able to generate plenty of height.

And the world number two duly takes advantage and will have around 10 feet for a birdie to join the leaders!

  8. Saddier drops back into three-way tiepublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 7 September

    Saddier -14, Hidalgo -13 (8)

    Wow!

Ever the showman, Angel Hidalgo whips another flop shot out of the rough off the back of the eighth green and it clatters into the top of the flagstick and settles just a few feet from the cup!

Adrien Saddier has seven feet for par. Oh he misses!

We have ourselves a three-way tie at the top.

    Cabrera-Bello -14 (10)

    Rafael Cabrera-Bello can't convert a presentable chance for a birdie on the par-five 10th.

It stays left and he looks puzzled.

    Still one back.

    Lagergren -14 (9)

Joakim Lagergren plays a lovely wedge into the ninth but pushes his putt to the right!

A huge chance to join the lead missed.

    Not this time!

Rory McIlroy's latest long birdie effort stays above ground and he tidies up for par.

    He remains two back.

    Saddier -15, Hidalgo -13 (7)

Adrien Saddier stays well clear of the water short of the seventh green.

Sensible shot. He's putting back down the hill for his birdie, but he doesn't quite give it enough and that's a tap-in par.

    McIlroy -13 (7)

A really poor eight-iron from Rory McIlroy at the eighth - and he looks away in disgust.

Well wide of the target and he'll need to produce more magic on the green if he's to find his fourth birdie today.

  14. Lagergren moves one behindpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 7 September

    Lagergren -14 (8)

Joakim Lagergren takes another step forward with a birdie at the eighth.

The Swede is looks a different player today after yesterday's struggles.

    Ah, Rory.

He leaves his birdie putt at the seventh short.

Another opportunity comes and goes, but he's lurking.

Alfredo Garcia-Heredia is having a bit of a nightmare, however. He's three over for the round and six back.

    McIlroy -13, Garcia-Heredia -10 (6)

Rory McIlroy has reached the short par-four seventh, which has been the hardest hole all week.

But he's done the first bit well and found the fairway. From 119 yards, he'll fancy his chances here.

Can he land it behind and spin it back? Yes he can, but the ridge takes the ball away from the hole.

He'd like to be closer but it's another birdie putt.

    Saddier -15, Hidalgo -13 (6)

Adrien Saddier completes another hugely impressive up-and-down after missing the sixth green to the left.

He's been rock solid on the greens so far today. A good sign. He remains one ahead of Rafael Cabrera-Bello.

Angel Hidalgo saves par too after a superb flop shot off the right of the green.

Adrien Saddier and Angel Hidalgo are playing a lot of loose golf in the final group.

They both miss the sixth green. A stiff test of their short games comin' right up.

Rory McIlroy stalks his latest birdie putt. It's not as long as the two tramliners he's holed and there doesn't look to be much break in it.

Can he give this huge crowd another reason to roar?

No! It's a good effort but the ball just sneaks past on the left.
