  1. Back to back bogeyspublished at 18:43 British Summer Time 19 May

    Rai -5, Wallace -7 (5)

If Aaron Rai had hopes of getting a score on the board like fellow Englishman Tommy Fleetwood and Jordan Smith have done already today then the past two holes won't have helped.

It is back to back bogeys for Rai on the fourth and fifth holes to fall down into a tie for 53rd.

Playing partner Wallace has made a steady start. One bogey and one birdie on his card so far today.

  2. Will there be an outside challenge?published at 18:36 British Summer Time 19 May

    Justin ThomasImage source, Getty Images

Will the winner here come from the final couple of pairings?

    Not necessarily...Justin Thomas came from seven strokes back on the final day in 2022 and John Mahaffey also managed to do that back in 1978;

The likes of Steve Elkington (1995), Payne Stewart (1989) Lanny Wadkins (1977) and Bob Rosburg (1959), have all overturned six shots to triumph.

  3. Can Bradley challenge?published at 18:36 British Summer Time 19 May

    Bradley -10 (2)

We have to watch out for players flying in from all angles today as there's a low score out there if someone is brave enough to go get it.

And maybe that could be Keegan Bradley? He won the US PGA Championship in 2011 and after a birdie on the first he's on 10 under and just five shots back.

  4. Postpublished at 18:34 British Summer Time 19 May

    McIlroy -7 (3)

Rory McIlroy had chances on the second and the third to get that early dropped shot back but couldn't take either.

He has given himself some work to do on the driveable par four fourth if he wants to pick up a shot here.

Into the thick stuff off the right. It's all going to be about the lie from there.

  5. Fine finish for Fleetwoodpublished at 18:33 British Summer Time 19 May

    Fleetwood -9 (65)

    Tommy FleetwoodImage source, Reuters

We'll miss covering Tommy Fleetwood this evening but he's made sure he gets at least a mention with another excellent round.

A six-under 65 sees him finish at nine under par, which is still a cracking score.

  6. Scheffler birdiepublished at 18:24 British Summer Time 19 May

    Scheffler -7 (5)

After a slow start for the world number one with an opening bogey, he gets himself back on track with three pars and now a birdie on the fifth.

He has a long way to go if he wants to get himself into contention but a well played par four could give him the momentum he needs with 13 holes to play.

  7. What history tells us about comebackspublished at 18:18 British Summer Time 19 May

    McIlroy -7 (1)

The most anyone has come back from to win the US PGA Championship is seven shots - Justin Thomas in 2022 and John Maheffey in 1978.

JT's only five back this time but at least Rory McIlroy knows it has been done before.

The Irishman decided to take the long route in getting his final round underway though.

Into the long stuff off the right of the fairway from the tee. Taking a trip into the bunker with his second. His third shot left him an eight feet tester for par. He couldn't take it and starts the day with an unwanted bogey.

Lots of work to do for the 2014 champion.

  8. What's on the tablepublished at 18:18 British Summer Time 19 May

    Wanamaker TrophyImage source, Getty Images

In about five hours, pictures should be going global of one of the world's best holding the Wanamaker Trophy aloft.

They will also be $3.35m richer as part of a record US PGA Championship purse of $18.5m.

Not bad for a few days' work.

  9. DJ finds his formpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 19 May

    Dustin Johnson's made history!

The big American has not threatened the leaders all tournament but has at least found a fine finish.

He's gone round bogey-free for the first time on a major Sunday.

  10. One from six?published at 18:15 British Summer Time 19 May

    Xander SchauffeleImage source, Reuters

We've got a stacked - and deep - leaderboard but definitely keep your eye on the top dogs.

Twelve of the past 13 US PGA Championships were won by a player who was either leading or within two shots of the lead at the end of 54 holes.

That would incorporate the top six as it stands.

  11. Koepka made a runpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 19 May

    Koepka -8 (14)

Brooks Koepka wasn't going quietly as the defending US PGA champion, with five birdies in his first 12 holes, but he's just dropped a shot on the 14th to slip back to eight under.

He'll need two or three birdies to at least have a chance of a top 10 finish.

  12. Smith shoots lowpublished at 18:07 British Summer Time 19 May

    Smith -7 (64)

We're here for Brits shooting low scores and Englishman Jordan Smith has shown Justin Rose, Bob MacIntyre and company how to do it.

He's closed with a stunning seven-under 64 to go from level par to -7.

Perhaps those waiting to go out will have taken note.

A glorious day for golf at Valhalla on Sunday.

No sign of the rain and fog that caused delays earlier in the tournament with wall to wall sunshine forecasted for the final round.

  16. Welcome to championship Sundaypublished at 18:03 British Summer Time 19 May

    US PGAImage source, Getty Images

Welcome back golf fans for what should be a super Sunday in Kentucky.

It's one of the biggest trophies in sport, but who will be walking away with the hefty Wanamaker Trophy tonight?

Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele are locked together on 15 under, but the are 13 other players within five shots of the American pair.

Shane Lowry's right there after he matched the lowest major score with his 62, so low, low scores are out there, and that will make this a Sunday shootout.

We've got Bryson DeChambeau, Viktor Hovland, Justin Thomas, Justin Rose and Robert MacIntyre all lurking and ready to lay down a challenge.

    This should be fun...
