  1. Hull leads by threepublished at 15:39 British Summer Time 15 September

    Korda v Hull 3UP (8)

A so-so chip from Charley Hull on the eighth but she cleans it up superbly with fine eight-foot putt that again shows how rock-solid she's been on the greens so far.

So solid in fact that Nelly Korda can't handle this pressure and she misses from a couple of feet closer to slip three behind.

  2. Lexi lands a bomb!published at 15:38 British Summer Time 15 September

    2UP Thompson v Boutier (4)

Who says Lexi Thompson can't putt? She's just made an absolute monster from just outside the White House back garden to stun Celine Boutier and move two ahead.

Are you sure you're leaving pro golf Lexi?

Unlike your average club player, there is no turning up and just seeing how it goes when it comes to the professional game.

Earlier, Leona Maguire and Linn Grant were both getting full warm up on the practice green and the range had already hit dozens of balls before they got under way for Europe in Sunday’s final two matches.

  4. Important to make fast start?published at 15:34 British Summer Time 15 September

Over the past two Solheim Cups, the first player to take a lead in singles has won 12 times, eight have been lost and four halved.

And players to win the first hole have a cumulative record of seven wins, six defeats and two ties.

In other words, an early lead is important but not critical.

    1UP Corpuz v Nordqvist (6)

It's funny how simple little three-footers suddenly become huge testing putts in the Solheim Cup. Allisen Corpuz takes an age over what's little more than a tap-in to halve the sixth - but makes no mistake to stay in front.

  6. Lee ties it up for USpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 15 September

    An Lee v Henseleit A/S (4)

One of those blue slivers has been wiped out as Andrea Lee tidies up for the US on the fourth green.

Suddenly, America are making inroads into Europe's fine start.

  7. Ewing with a point to provepublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 15 September

    Ewing v Maguire (15:30 BST)

Ally Ewing and Leona Maguire are the penultimate match out today, and if it does come down to their contest they'll both have something to prove.

Maguire had played in all 10 matches of her previous two Solheim Cups before playing just one of four here, but it's worse for Ewing as she is currently on a six-match losing streak in the competition and has lost all three of her singles matches in the competition.

  8. Lexi leadspublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 15 September

    1UP Thompson v Boutier (3)

Another huge roar can only mean one thing - Lexi Thompson has rolled in a birdie on the third to take the lead against Celine Boutier.

Thompson's answering her putting critics so far today.

    2UP Zhang v Ciganda (4)

A birdie on the pa three third sees Rose Zhang nudge further ahead of Carlota Ciganda, who needs to a catch a break somewhere on the front nine.

  11. Hull goes 2UPpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 15 September

    Korda v Hull 2UP (7)

Nelly Korda missed the seventh green with just a nine iron and after short-siding herself she allows Charley Hull to nestle a putt up to the side of the hole which is all she needed to win it.

Hull leads the top match by two.

  12. Ciganda bogeyspublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 15 September

    1UP Zhang v Ciganda (3)

Inevitably, Carlota Ciganda is made to pay for her earlier mistake chipping on to the green at the third and makes a bogey allowing Rose Zhang to go one hole up.

  13. Hole out!published at 15:20 British Summer Time 15 September

    1UP Corpuz v Nordqvist (5)

What a shot! Anna Nordqvist holes out from the fairway with her third shot to the par-five fifth.

It's an arrow of an iron shot that settles right by the flag then just takes a hint of spin and disappears into the hole.

What Europeans there are in the crowd go nuts and Nordqvist celebrates in appropriate style - and thankfully her caddie keeps his shirt on....

    2UP Khang v Pedersen (6)

Megan Khang sinks a knee knocker at the sixth to make par and halve the hole with Emily Pedersen.

We've been having a chat about the dancing at the desk here.

When I step on to the first tee, I'm usually bricking it about whether I'll even hit the ball.

    Can anyone relate??

  16. Calm Europe profiting?published at 15:17 British Summer Time 15 September

    Peter Scrivener
    BBC Sport in Virginia

I wonder if the US players are too hyped when coming out for play today? They are whipping the crowd up and dancing onto the tee, while Europe stroll out in a more sedate fashion.

In the first eight matches to tee off, Europe have gone ahead in six, five of them by winning the first hole, and the other was Charley Hull taking the second to nudge in front against Nelly Korda.

  17. Stark on the board earlypublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 15 September

    Coughlin v Stark 1UP (1)

Maja Stark is asked to tap in a gimmie by Lauren Coughlin to win the first hole with a par, and she duly obliges.

Nice to get one on the board early for the Swede.

  18. Lexi levels it uppublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 15 September

    Thompson v Boutier A/S (2)

Lexi Thompson levels with a birdie at the second. I think this could be the loudest match of the day with Thompson's fans making an almighty noise following their American idol around.

    Zhang v Ciganda A/S (2)

Carlota Ciganda is in the rough about 10 yards from the green at the third, but the Spaniard bungles a chip only a few yards to leave herself in danger of surrendering the hole to Rose Zhang.

  20. Postpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 15 September

    Vu v Valenzuela (15:10 BST)

Cries of "Vuuuuu" reverberate around the first tee as two-time major champ Lilia Vu gets going.

She will be a formidable opponent for European rookie Albane Valenzuela.

Both away safely down the fairway.
