Summary

  1. Lexi lands another one!published at 16:27 British Summer Time 15 September

    2UP Thompson v Boutier (7)

Lexi Thompson is just making everything now! It's another one from downtown that she manages to drain on the seventh for a birdie to restore her two-hole lead.

This is an incredible display today with the weakest club in her bag - if Lexi had putted like this throughout her career she'd have won about 10 majors.

  3. Hall gifts shot back to Leepublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 15 September

    3UP Al Lee v Hall (10)

A chink in the armour of Georgia Hall as she misses from tight in and gifts Allison Lee her first hole of the session.

She's still a healthy three up though.

  4. Pedersen strugglingpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 15 September

    4UP Khang v Pedersen (10)

Emily Pedersen has a face like a wet weekend at the moment.

A nasty ninth is followed by a terrible 10th as she bogeys the hole, failing again to recover from a wild tee shot.

Pedersen has played all five matches so perhaps is a bit fatigued. This is turning into a cakewalk for Megan Khang who now holds the biggest lead of any American player.

  5. Kupcho off to a flierpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 15 September

    3UP Kupcho v Grant (3)

Jennifer Kupcho is not playing like someone who has lost both her matches so far this week.

That's a wonderful approach into the third and a tap-in birdie to make it three in three.

  6. Lee pulls away for USpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 15 September

    2UP An Lee v Henseleit (7)

Esther Henseleit at the seventh can't convert her par putt and, after leading early, she's slipped two down to Andrea Lee.

  7. Big miss by Corpuzpublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 15 September

    1UP Corpuz v Nordqvist (9)

Allisen Corpuz has just a three-footer to maintain her two-hole lead over Anna Nordqvist, but it's a bad push with the flat stick that sails well wide and the Swede gets back to within one as they head into the back nine.

  8. McIlroy on the chargepublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 15 September

Remember, Europe need eight points to reach 14 and retain the Solheim Cup.

    Europe won the singles battle 8-4 in 2003 but the US team has earned eight or more points in this format on six occasions, 1994 (8-2), 1996 (10-2), 8½ -3½ (2002), 8½ -3½ (2007), 8-4 (2009) and 8½ -3½ (2015.)

However, the only teams to earn eight or more points in singles on foreign soil are the Americans in 1996 (Wales), 2007 (Sweden) and 2015 (Germany).

Basically Europe are hoping to head into unchartered territory in an away match.

Wow! How about this from Charley Hull - sent out first against the world number one she is absolutely battering the best player in the world right now.

Nelly Korda dribbles her birdie putt just wide of the right edge, but Hull rolls hers in to take a 4UP lead. This is epic stuff from Charley.

  13. Ewing back on termspublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 15 September

    Ewing v Maguire A/S (3)

Ally Ewing has lost six straight matches at the Solheim Cup and that could well be playing on her mind on this final day.

However, she birdies the third to win the hole and get herself back on level terms with Leona Maguire.

    Schmelzel v Sagstrom 2UP (4)

Madelene Sagstrom doubles her advantage over Sarah Schmelzel in one of the bottom matches with an arrow straight putt that hardly moved a whisker.

  16. Postpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 15 September

    Al Lee v Hall 4UP (9)

Allison Lee is wearing one starry sock and one stripy sock but she's not pulling through for her nation at the moment.

A chance to win the ninth goes begging and Georgia Hall turns four up.

  17. US extend lead in 12th matchpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 15 September

    2UP Kupcho v Grant (2)

In the battle of the winless players at the second, Jennifer Kupcho is taking command.

She's just rolled in to go two up over Linn Grant.

  18. Postpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 15 September

    Korda v Hull 3UP (10)

Pretty good standard of tee shots from our lead-off pair on the 11th, both very makeable birdie chances coming up.

Charley Hull is closer and on a similar line so will get a read, but if Nelly Korda sinks hers first then we'll get one of those 'classic matchplay moments' we all love.

  19. US take lead in sixth matchpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 15 September

    1UP An Lee v Henseleit (6)

Yuck. Esther Henseleit grimaces as she misses a short putt at the sixth.

A gift for Andrea Lee who nudges ahead in the only tied match out there.

  20. Pedersen pays for shankpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 15 September

    3UP Khang v Pedersen (9)

Emily Pedersen manages to get on the green after that shank at the tee on the ninth, but is left with a massive putt to halve the hole.

It's a commendable effort but whizzes past the hole.

Megan Khang moves three ahead. Pedersen's body language looks somewhat dejected.
