    McIlroy -11 (16)

Just listened back to the audio of Rory McIlroy after he hit that shot.

"Go, go, go, argh, go, go, go!"

    Why the stress Rory!

  2. 'Incredible iron play'published at 23:27 British Summer Time 13 April

Incredible iron play from Rory McIlroy.

That is going to be the story of this week

  3. Another pearl from McIlroypublished at 23:26 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11 (16)

    Wheelhouse??

    It's in his pocket!

Another marvellous iron shot from Rory McIlroy and it'll be a kick-in birdie.

Dagger to the heart of Justin Rose.

  4. Postpublished at 23:25 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11 (16)

In actual fact, Rory McIlroy is all right here.

On the upslope and 180 yards to the hole.

    This is in his wheelhouse.

  5. Crazy eagle for Reedpublished at 23:25 British Summer Time 13 April

    Reed -9 (17)

That's right, Patrick Reed has made an eagle on 17 by holing out his second shot from 146 yards away!

Unless he can do it again on 18 it'll be too little too late but still a magnificent moment on a Masters Sunday that's been full of them.

  6. Postpublished at 23:24 British Summer Time 13 April

    Rose -11 (66)

As Rose heads off the last, he doffs his cap to the rapturous patrons and looks up to the heavens.

He must want the golfing gods to help him out.

Rose has done as much he can by setting the target for those still out in the Augusta evening sun.

  7. Postpublished at 23:22 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11 (16)

A pretty tight fairway at 17 and Rory McIlroy takes out his three wood to take aim at it.

Not sure he's found the short grass there.

  8. Postpublished at 23:20 British Summer Time 13 April

    Rose -11 (66)

Imagine if Justin Rose hadn't ran out of steam on the second nine yesterday?

Getting ragged and finishing with a 75 could prove to be very costly.

Maybe that thought will cross his mind as he heads inside and goes to find a telly.

  9. Three putt for Abergpublished at 23:18 British Summer Time 13 April

    Aberg -9 (17)

Oh no! Ludvig Aberg misses the putt coming back and with Justin Rose posting 11 under that means the Swede is going to come up just short again, just as he did last year.

  10. Postpublished at 23:18 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11 (15)

In many ways, this has been the most Rory McIlroy of Rory McIlroy final rounds.

I'm not sure my nerves can take it.

  11. Par for McIlroy, birdie for DeChambeaupublished at 23:18 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11, DeChambeau -8 (16)

Now then Rory McIlroy can you make this tee shot count at 16?

No - it's wide right. Just a par.

If he's going to win this without a play-off, he'll need to find a birdie over the final two holes.

That's what Bryson DeChambeau has just done. Back to eight under par.

  12. Rose finishes with another birdiepublished at 23:16 British Summer Time 13 April

    Rose -11 (66)

How can Justin Rose respond? With nerves of steel and a touch of genius.

The 44-year-old converts his 20-foot birdie putt and goes back into a share of the lead!

We said a few holes ago he had to leave it all out there. That's what he's done.

Rose is back in the hutch on 11 under after a marvellous 66 today.

    Will it be good enough?

  13. 'The Sixth-formers loved that one!'published at 23:16 British Summer Time 13 April

    Mark Simpson
BBC News NI at Holywood Golf Club

The roof nearly came off at Holywood Golf Club there for McIlroy's approach on the 15th.

The Sixth-formers from Rory’s old school, Sullivan Upper, enjoyed that one.

  15. Postpublished at 23:13 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11, DeChambeau -7 (15)

Wizardry from Rory McIlroy as he dives his tee shot right onto the back corner where that natty 16th pin is.

The patrons liked it. McIlroy stays circumspect but it's a good chance of a birdie.

Quality from Bryson DeChambeau too as he pitches his inside even McIlroy's.

A treat for the masses surrounding this green.

  16. Heavy handedpublished at 23:12 British Summer Time 13 April

    Aberg -10, Day-7 (16)

Oh Ludvig Aberg! Just when he needed his distance control for a tester across a hump on 17, he guns it through any and all kinds of break and leaves himself six feet at least coming back.

  17. 'Poor putt'published at 23:11 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11 (15)

    Andrew Magee
PGA Tour winner on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It was a poor putt, he pulled it right off the bat. He did the old pro thing and he walked right back like ‘oh I misread it’

    No – you pulled it.

  18. Big change on 16...published at 23:10 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11 (15)

    The MastersImage source, The Masters

Interesting move by Augusta National in deciding against the traditional Sunday front pin placement on 16 and instead going for the back right of the green in honour of Jack Nicklaus, who won his fifth Masters title 50 years ago this year.

Back in 1975, Nicklaus claimed yet another Green Jacket thanks in part to a huge 40-foot putt to this flag on the 16th, which is a must harder position than the usual one.

And now it's up to Rory McIlroy to navigate this.

    Will it prove decisive tonight?

  19. McIlroy settles for birdie and the leadpublished at 23:10 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -11 (15)

Eagle putt for Rory McIlroy but the cheers turn to groans as it dips left and stays up.

He has an easy birdie but a one-shot lead looks a whole lot nervier than the a two-shot.

And it's over to the 16th.

  20. Postpublished at 23:08 British Summer Time 13 April

    DeChambeau -7 (15)

Gutsy from Bryson DeChambeau to still make his par despite finding the water.

He's in the top five at -7.
