    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -6 (12)

Ideal lay-up from Rory McIlroy who doesn't need to go chasing eagles at this par-five 13th.

He'll be weighing up flicking it onto the green and pocketing another timely birdie.

Meanwhile Bryson DeChambeau does go flag-hunting but wraps it left again and into the first cut behind the green.

  2. Ouch!published at 22:30 British Summer Time 13 April

    Conners -7 Reed -7 (13)

Knowing Patrick Reed, he'd be thinking he's still well in this tournament when he chopped in his wedge to 13 and got some decent reverse on the ball.

BUT he then three-putts from four feet to turn a birdie into a bogey and turn his slim chance into no chance whatsoever now.

  3. Another birdie for Rosepublished at 22:28 British Summer Time 13 April

    Rose -10 (15)

    Splish, splash, almost splosh!

Justin Rose flicks the wrists wonderfully from the bunker on 15, using the upslope to his advantage and almost holing out for an eagle three.

That would have shaken things up. The birdie will do though.

    Back within three of McIlroy...

  4. Postpublished at 22:27 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -6 (12)

When Bryson DeChambeau sunk a monster putt on the 18th green yesterday to get in this final group with Rory McIlroy, we wondered how his energy would affect the world number two.

The fears looked confirmed over the first two holes.

Since then, it's been a clinic from McIlroy and DeChambeau has gone backwards.

  5. Postpublished at 22:25 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -6 (12)

The 13th has been a profitable hole for Rory McIlroy this week. He's -4 for the week so far.

Thrashing a peach of a tee shots straight down the fairway is a nice setup to make more ground during his final round.

  6. 'Bryson's body language has gone'published at 22:24 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -6 (12)

    Trish Johnson
Eight-time member of the Team Europe Solheim Cup team on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Bryson’s race is run to be honest. He had it going there at the beginning, but his body language has gone, his game has not been great today and I think Rory got to him.

It was going to work one way or the other and I think Rory came out on top.

Amen Corner has grabbed hold of Bryson DeChambeau, chewed him up and spat him out.

He isn't the first and he won't be the last.

When your iron play is off and your putting is awry, you can't win the Masters.

Four over for his round today.

  8. Postpublished at 22:22 British Summer Time 13 April

    Rose -9 (14)

Justin Rose has to leave it all out there now.

Up on the par-five 15th, the veteran Englishman has the fairway wood out and is going for the green. He needs an eagle.

Somebody near the microphone whistles in admiration as a hooky approach sets off.

But there is not enough movement and he plops into the bunker on the right.

  9. Postpublished at 22:22 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -7 (11)

Perfect pace from Rory McIlroy across the length of the 12th hole and he'll leave it nice and close.

This should be a nerveless par on one of the most treacherous holes remaining.

  10. Scottie getting hotpublished at 22:21 British Summer Time 13 April

    Scheffler -8, Lowry +1 (14)

And Scottie Scheffler isn't done just yet either as he cards back-to-back birdies to get to eight under.

It's a brilliant approach shot from the world number one on 14 that digs in a spins towards the hole and leaves a simple enough putt for a three.

He's still five back but heading in the right direction.

  11. Aberg birdiepublished at 22:19 British Summer Time 13 April

    Aberg -9, Day-7 (13)

He has to aim off 90 degrees away from the hole with his eagle put, but Ludvig Abeerg plays it nicely, and with great speed so it's a stree-free birdie for the Swede.

    He's not done just yet...

Paolo: The back nine on Masters Sunday After one of THE most thrilling front nines we’ve ever seen, the pack are back on the birdie train playing world class golf, chasing Rory down. This could be anyone’s Masters.

Joe: I know I've lived another year when I hear someone say "The Masters doesn't start until the back nine of the Sunday".

    Rakesh: Come on Rory!!!

  13. Postpublished at 22:18 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -7 (11)

It's all or nothing really for Bryson DeChambeau and he's gone over the back of the 12th green into one of those bunkers.

Irate, he turns and speaks animatedly to his caddie.

His radar has been off all day.

  14. Green jackets on show at Rory's home clubpublished at 22:16 British Summer Time 13 April

At Rory McIlroy’s home club, Holywood in County Down, members have been glued to his every shot on TV.

Sixth-formers from Sullivan Upper School - Rory's old school - are among those watching nervously, wearing their school green blazers, hoping that Rory would be wearing one too by the end of the night.

During the rollercoaster round by their hero, Holywood Golf Club members have already had a full range of emotions and I'm sure there will be plenty more to come!

  15. Postpublished at 22:16 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -7 (11)

    It's on the green.

Most of the people in this live text breathe a huge sigh of relief.

  16. Postpublished at 22:14 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -7 (11)

    A four-shot lead going to the 12th.

Figure out the wind, pick the right club, find the centre of the green.

Sounds easy when you type it.

    Over to you Rory McIlroy.

  17. Double bogey for DeChambeaupublished at 22:13 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13, DeChambeau -7 (11)

He has made a few double bogeys though!

And that's exactly the mark Bryson DeChambeau is picking up on this punishing 11th hole.

Sympathetic applause from the patrons but he looks crestfallen.

    Race run, one thinks.

  18. Bogey for McIlroy at 11published at 22:12 British Summer Time 13 April

    McIlroy -13 (11)

In the end, both Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau end up chipping onto the green from a similar spot.

Bryson's is better, although he's left himself nine feet for bogey.

A nervy approach from Rory leaves him 11 feet to save par and for once his putter lets him down.

Only a second bogey of the entire tournament for the world number two.

  19. Postpublished at 22:12 British Summer Time 13 April

    Aberg -8, Day-7 (12)

Ludvig Aberg responds to that bogey as we thought he would, be creaming his drive off the 13th tee then fizzing a striped iron onto the green and now needing just a twoputt for a birdie.

  20. Bogey for Rosepublished at 22:11 British Summer Time 13 April

    Rose -9 (14)

Ah, that's a real momentum-killer for Justin Rose.

He finds trouble off the tee on the 14th and can't salvage a par.

He needs to take advantage of the par-five 15th.
