    Woods +11 (82) Hatton +3 (73)

Tiger Woods has had a torrid day but is getting a standing ovation as he strides up towards the 18th green.

He almost looks embarrassed by what has happened to him today but plays his second well finding the heart of the green before tidying up in two putts.

Tyrrell Hatton is also on in two but has an absolute shocker pushing his long birdie putt three feet past and then sending the return seven feet past down the slope. It only gets worse from there and the Englishman walks off with a double bogey. Ouch.

    Homa -6, DeChambeau -6 (10)

Big break for Bryson DeChambeau as there's a bit too much draw on his approach to the 11th and he's just a couple of feet from his ball dropping into the water.

  3. Bogeys for Hojgaard and Schefflerpublished at 22:20 British Summer Time 13 April

A shortlived run at the top for Nicolai Hojgaard as he overhits his downhill clip and run and then can't save par from 33 feet.

As for Scottie Scheffler, his chip at least goes a lot closer, but five feet is the type of range he had problems with.

And he fluffs it. Back-to-back bogeys for Scheffler.

    Scheffler -5, Hojgaard -7 (10)

Our new leader finds himself right behind one of the trees that encroach on the 11th fairway. Classic Augusta there for Nicolai Hojgaard.

He goes for a cut and catches the edge of a branch, killing its speed and leaving him 37 yards to get up and down for par.

Scottie Scheffler had no such trouble but he's still short with his second and has 29 yards left. The king of greens in regulation is dialled out at the moment.

  5. Postpublished at 22:17 British Summer Time 13 April

    Davis -2, Morikawa -6 (11)

What a stroke of good fortune for Collin Morikawa.

He pulls his tee shot left into the 12th and his ball is seemingly destined for the shrubs at the back, but it cannons back and lands on the first cut at the back of the green.

  6. Postpublished at 22:13 British Summer Time 13 April

    Davis -2, Morikawa -6 (11)

Collin Morikawa walks off the 11th with a par in his pocket as Cameron Davis drops back.

  7. Woods ships another shotpublished at 22:12 British Summer Time 13 April

    Woods +11 Hatton +1 (17)

Tyrrell Hatton has that feeling of 'oh I'm in trouble, no I'll be okay' as he goes left on the 17th.

He's able to find the dancefloor with his second a low cutter that dissects the bunkers and helps him claima very welcome par.

Overhanging branches block Tiger's natural approach and he shunts his second right and can't scramble a par. Bet he can't wait to get off the course.

  8. Bryson back to six underpublished at 22:11 British Summer Time 13 April

    Homa -6, DeChambeau -6 (10)

It's been hard work but Bryson DeChambeau is now back to six under par where he started the day, as he converts that excellent birdie chance he set up on the 10th.

You'll never guess what Max Homa gets - yep, another par!

  9. Postpublished at 22:09 British Summer Time 13 April

    Scheffler -5, Hojgaard -7 (10)

What a putt from Nicolai Hojgaard who has four birdies in his first 10 holes and has quietly been applying pressure to the world number one.

Now we'll see what both are made of as they enter Amen Corner.

  11. Postpublished at 22:07 British Summer Time 13 April

    Homa -6, DeChambeau -5 (9)

It's all about knowing where to miss, as Bryson DeChambeau hits an excellent approach to the 10th just short of the flag, while Max Homa takes dead aim but although it lands pin high he's cut it too fine to the left edge and the ball rolls off down the slope.

Oh boy! Scottie Scheffler's had a nightmare and we have a new leader!

Marooned out back, his chip out of the straw leaves him 63 feet for par. It looks on line but just misses.

A simple two-foot putt to tidy up for bogey? No - his putting woes suddenly return and it's a double.

Meanwhile, partner Nicolai Hojgaard, fresh from two straight birdies, eyes a 48-foot putt for another and duly cleans up.

Stunning from the Dane, who leads the Masters on debut!

What I love about Aberg more than anything else is that he plays so quickly. He's a breath of fresh air.

  14. Postpublished at 22:05 British Summer Time 13 April

    Davis -3, Morikawa -6 (10)

Double trouble for Cam Davis on the 10th a few minutes back after flying through the green but he larrups his drive down the 11th a good 30-40 yards past Collin Morikawa.

  15. Postpublished at 22:05 British Summer Time 13 April

    Aberg -5, Pavon +1 (11)

The approach to the 11th can be a daunting prospect - even for the world's very best golfers.

Doesn't seem to faze Ludwig Aberg, though.

He finds the green with minimum fuss and drops his second putt for another par.

  16. Fleetwood misses short birdie puttpublished at 22:03 British Summer Time 13 April

    Fleetwood E (12)

Why did I open my mouth?

Tommy Fleetwood has six feet for birdie on 12 but he looks to the heavens as his cautiously hit ball swishes to the left and misses.

    He's staying at even par.

  17. Postpublished at 22:00 British Summer Time 13 April

    Woods +10 Hatton +1 (16)

Until 2020 Tiger Woods' worst ever finish at a Masters (when completing all four rounds) was five over par in 1995 and 2012.

Since then of course there has been a 13 over in 2022 but he'll have to go some not to end up worse than that the way things are going.

A three-putt on the 16th has sees him slip further back today to 10 over overall and the distinct possibility of an unwelcome first on Sunday.

  18. Postpublished at 21:57 British Summer Time 13 April

    Scheffler -7 (9)

Scottie Scheffler, iron in hand, middle of the fairway.

You know how this one ends, although on the 10th it really doesn't as the world number one seriously misjudges the strength of his shot.

He's carried the green, bounced it down the slope and into the pine straw at the back.

Not a nice place at all to find oneself.

  19. Postpublished at 21:55 British Summer Time 13 April

    Fleetwood E (11)

Yes Tommy! That's more like it from Tommy Fleetwood who seems to have been undercooking putts all over Augusta during this third round.

On the par-three 12th, he basically takes the putt out of the equation by dropping a pearl of a tee shot to six feet.

    Surely a birdie incoming.

  20. Postpublished at 21:54 British Summer Time 13 April

    Homa -6, DeChambeau -5 (9)

Max Homa misses a decent opportunity to pick up his first birdie of the day by missing a 12-footer on the ninth and he reaches the turn having made par on every hole so far!

It's worse for Bryson DeChambeau as he lets a seven foot putt for par slide by the left edge as he drops back to five under after what's be a bit of a scruffy round so far.
