    1UP Burns v MacIntyre (16)

This match might well go down 18, unless Sam Burns holes and Robert MacIntyre misses.

That will mean eight of the 11 singles went to the last green.

    SENSATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT.

    That's absolutely brilliant.

Dead on line and he's in perfect position to get this over the line.

    Morikawa A/S Hatton (17)

Collin Morikawa finds the fairway on the 18th. Tyrrell Hatton is in the first cut but then delivers a wonderful approach shot.

With two-time major champion Morikawa only finding the front of the green from the fairway, the Englishman is very handily placed.

    Swedish fishing hats.

You know what I can’t see on the 18th grandstand in front of me?

    American Stars and Stripes.

    More from Shane Lowry:

"To do that on the 18th green in front of everyone, it was so hard out there. I mean fair play to the US lads we know they were going to come out fighting.

"I just hope one of the boys can get the half point so we can get the win. Obviously we’ve retained the cup but we want to win as well."

    On Luke Donald as captain:

"He's the greatest that ever lived, the best captain in the world. He’s done the best job."

On the next home Ryder Cup in Ireland:

"It will be a little bit nicer than playing here, I know that."

    1UP Burns v MacIntyre (16)

Sam Burns hits his shot on the par three to 25 feet.

Robert MacIntyre absolutely rips that. About 15 feet away for his two.

He will definitely be keen to salvage something even though the cup has been retained.

Shane Lowry sank the putt to retain the Ryder Cup for Europe:

"I’ve been so lucky to experience amazing things in this game. That was the hardest couple of hours of my whole life, honestly.

"I just can’t believe that ball went in. I said to Darren walking down 18, I have the chance to do the coolest thing in my life here. The Ryder Cup means everything to me.

"I won The Open in Ireland, it was amazing, a dream come true but the Ryder Cup for me is everything."

    1UP Burns v MacIntyre (16)

A rendition of Flower of Scotland greets Robert MacIntyre on the 17th tee.

If that doesn't fire him up EVEN more I don't know what will.

  9. Another point for USApublished at 22:34 BST 28 September

    1UP Griffin v Hojgaard (F)

Ben Griffin survives and he beats Rasmus Hojgaard n to add another point to this incredible USA total in the singles.

It's turning out to be one of the most one-sided Sundays we've ever seen at the Ryder Cup, and yet at the end of it, the trophy will be heading back across the Atlantic.

  10. Morikawa & Hatton all square heading on to 18thpublished at 22:33 BST 28 September

    Morikawa A/S Hatton (17)

What a putt that nearly is. Tyrrell Hatton's effort looks to be tracking towards the hole from well over 40 feet but it stays high and slips past by less than the width of a ball.

Europe's captain Luke Donald has his head in his hands.

Can anyone find the half point required for a European victory? Or will we end up with the first tie since 1989 at the Belfry?

  11. Why Europe still want a halfpublished at 22:31 BST 28 September

    So, quick explanation.

There are 28 points available at the Ryder Cup. Because Europe won last time, they only needed 14 to make sure they could not be beaten.

That's why Shane Lowry's putt retained the cup.

One more half would be enough to win it outright.

  12. Postpublished at 22:31 BST 28 September

    1UP Burns v MacIntyre (15)

Very good chip across the 16th green by Sam Burns.

But Robert MacIntyre has a chance of a win.

It slides past the low side though.

    Looks like a half.

  13. Postpublished at 22:31 BST 28 September

    1UP Griffin v Hojgaard (17)

Rasmus Hojgaard comes up short on the 18th green thanks to a bit of spin on the ball, Ben Griffin comes up even shorter though with even more swazz on his effort.

Just an outside chance for the Dane to somehow get a half here.

    Morikawa A/S Hatton (16)

Tyrrell Hatton and Collin Morikawa still can't be separated as they tee off on the par-three 17th.

Neither threatens the pin albeit Hatton will be putting from over 40 feet, with the American well inside him.
