Henley/Scheffler v Aberg/Fitzpatrick 1UP (1)
No mistake from Ludvig Aberg on the first green and Europe move one up in the second match.
A predictably muted response from this American crowd.
Who has the best fans? Thumbs up for Europe, down for USA...
Henley/Scheffler v Aberg/Fitzpatrick (12:25 BST)
Russell Henley attempts to nail his putt but it drops short and now a chance for Ludvig Aberg to put Europe one up in the second match.
1UP DeChambeau/Thomas v Hatton/Rahm (2)
Tyrrell Hatton actually closer to holing his putt from 30 feet than Justin Thomas is from nine. Still that's an escape for Europe after the second shots.
The good news if that both Hatton and Jon Rahm have given two long range putts a great roll so far, they just need to knock it closer next time.
Henley/Scheffler v Aberg/Fitzpatrick (12:25 BST)
Now for Scottie Scheffler's first swing in the 2025 Ryder Cup.
A muted response from the crowd as he plants it on the green but a tiny bit of back spin takes it away from the hole.
Matt Fitzpatrick lines up his first shot and it's a stunner as he lands Europe a few feet shy of the hole.
English/Morikawa v Fleetwood/McIlroy (12:42)
Watch: Away Ryder Cup win would be one of McIlroy's 'greatest accomplishments'
Rory McIlroy tells BBC Sport that if Europe were to beat the USA in this week's Ryder Cup it would represent one of the "greatest accomplishments" of his career.
The five-time major winner is part of the European team for the eighth time.

Us Brits pride ourselves on witty terrace chants, don’t we?
So we generally sneer at American sports stadium ‘banter’.
But what do we think of this one from the New Yorkers then?
"Tuck. Your. Shirt. Innnnn," they sing at Ludvig Aberg.
To the tune of the ‘Let’s Go’ chant - omnipresent at American sport venues - they’re having a dig at the Swede’s course clothing etiquette.
1UP DeChambeau/Thomas v Hatton/Rahm (1)
Bryson DeChambeau from the second fairway hammers a wedge into the green that lands beyond the flag and has plenty of second bounce swazz on the ball to spin it back to 10 feet.
Jon Rahm gets an absolute ton of spin on his and with the green sloping back towards him, that rolls to about 30 feet away.
Advantage USA again.
Henley/Scheffler v Aberg/Fitzpatrick (12:25 BST)
Russell Henley opts for a different line than the previous three drives from the first tee and he ends up in the rough but it shouldn't cause world number one Scottie Scheffler too much trouble.
Henley/Scheffler v Aberg/Fitzpatrick (12:25 BST)
Here we go then.
Ludvig Aberg goes the way of Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm from match one and it's a lovely drive.
Scheffler/Henley v Aberg/Fitzpatrick (12:25 BST)
Last time we saw Scottie Scheffler in a Ryder Cup foursomes match in Rome, he was sobbing after being demolished alongside Brooks Koepka in a record 9&7 defeat by Ludvig Aberg and Viktor Hovland.
Aberg is back but Scheffler is a different player now, completely dominant world number one and perhaps with the perfect partner in steady Eddie Russell Henley, with whom he won two and lost one match at the Presidents Cup last year.
There's a new foe for Scheffler too in Matt Fitzpatrick, who will be desperate to improve on his dismal 1-7-0 Ryder Cup record.

Huge cheer back up on the first tee as Rahm’s putt pulled up short and then an even bigger one as DeChambeau walked that birdie in.
And then the focus switches to match two… here comes Scheffler.

So far, and I know the sample size is small, the American fans have been well behaved.
There were a few cat-calls while Rahm addressed his ball on the first tee, but nothing which would have put him off too much.
I didn’t hear any ‘Ozempic’ shouts - the Spaniard laughed that the weight-loss drug was used as a heckle in the practice rounds.
1UP DeChambeau/Thomas v Hatton/Rahm (1)
Team USA had a wretched record at the first hole in Rome, but Bryson DeChambeau has delivered as you'd expect as he drains his putt from about 15 feet or so on the first to send his pair into an early lead.
Jon Rahm almost poured in his first but pulled up a roll or two short, and now Europe face an uphill battle.
Henley/Scheffler v Aberg/Fitzpatrick (12:25 BST)
Scottie Scheffler is head and shoulders the best golfer on the planet right now, and he was still pretty good in Rome at the last Ryder Cup when he was reduced to tears byt Ludvig Aberg and Viktor Hovland.
Scheffler, the world number one, was playing with five-time major champion Brooks Koepka in a powerful pairing - while Aberg had only turned pro a few months earlier and hadn't even played in a major yet.
The result? The American pair were crushed 9&7 - the largest ever margin of victory in a Ryder Cup foursomes match.
Europe captain Luke Donald, speaking to Sky Sports at the first tee: "It's not quite the same welcome we got in Rome, but that's to be expected. It's still electric like all first tees.
"You want to get off to a good start but we have four strong pairings."
DeChambeau/Thomas v Hatton/Rahm
Tyrrell Hatton facing a tricky chip shot out of the right rough up and over a bunker towards the flag.
Plenty of chuntering from the crowd as he lines it up, and it's a bit fat out of the rough, may have had a messy lie, but he gets a decent bounce from just over the sand and rolls onto the green.
Justin Thomas should get his a lot closer, but he's a bit nervy on his chip from a nice clean lie on the fairway. Understandable nerves here!
Henley/Scheffler v Aberg/Fitzpatrick (12:25 BST)
An electric atmosphere at the first tee with match one under way and we're almost ready for match two.
Fewer than 10 minutes to go for the world number one to appear...

Bryson DeChambeau does pull out the big stick. Now watch him drive.
After cheers for Jon Rahm going right, more passionate whoops greet the American’s ball landing just short of the putting surface.
He’s laced it about 350 yards. What a way to start!
Justin Thomas is handy with a wedge...
