Lowry -8 (71)
Trish Johnson
Former Europe Solheim Cup player on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra
We had a conversation about who of the European Ryder Cup players would benefit most from playing well here and Shane Lowry was right up there.
He's played pretty well all season but hasn't finished anything off.
And his final rounds have been poor all year.
Lowry -8 (71)
A final round of one-under 71 for Shane Lowry sees him finish at -8 for the tournament.
The 2022 champion has not really been in contention this week.
Lee MW -14 (15)
I was writing Lee Min-woo off not so long ago but he's just chipped in for birdie at the 15th.
Imagine if he hadn't made that bogey at the previous hole!
Refusing to go away - and the social media star puts his hand to his ear to imitate that he is calling "Doctor Chip-inski". Love it.
Noren -16, Saddier -15, Hatton -14 (9)
Faldo-esque by Adrien Saddier who two putts for par on the ninth - I'm not sure a full round of 18 pars will get the job done for the Frenchman though.
Tyrrell Hatton knocks in for his par. It's been an untidy front nine but he's right in the mix with nine to play.
Our leader will take a one-shot lead in that back nine after he too two-putts from distance.
Rahm -13 (66)
It's perhaps not quite the score Jon Rahm had in mind when he was bulldozing around the turn.
The Spaniard can't convert a birdie putt from nine feet at the 18th and he finishes at 13 under.
It's enough to leapfrog Rory McIlroy as clubhouse leader - but he's clearly not happy about the shots he left out there.
Noren -16, Saddier -15, Hatton -14 (8)
It all seems to have slowed down a little out there around the turn. Our leading trio are teeing off down the ninth.
Tyrrell Hatton fires down the left side and his ball gets caught up in the purple heather that is dotted around and he can only punch his ball back into the fairway.
Alex Noren plays the percentages from the middle of the fairway, into the heart of the green. Anything short trundles back to you, anything fractionally long trickles down a slope away from the green.
Adrien Saddier follows Noren into the safe side of the green.
Hatton looks like he'll escape with a par after zinging an 87-yard wedge into three feet.
Fichardt -13, Hall -11, Hovland -12 (9)
Over the first two days Viktor Hovland was the best putter in the field.
Looks like he's packed a different flagstick this weekend as a presentable birdie chance passes him by at the ninth.
Lee MW -13 (14)
We join Lee Min-woo at the 14th sizing up 15 feet for par.
And he' missed it. He falls back to 13 under.
There's just a little bit of a check on some of these chargers.
Rahm -13 (17)
Now then, following Justin Rose down the 18th is Jon Rahm who is going to take aim here from the middle of the fairway.
Fires it in but it's ever-so slightly overcooked and drops into the rough at the back of the green. That'll be a tricky one for him to navigate.
Fitzpatrick -12, Ferguson -12 (9)
Here's Matt Fitzpatrick studying a five-footer for par. He could do with knocking this in to round off an excellent front nine. Oof. A slightly tugged putt. And that's a bogey. A first dropped shot of the round and he wanders off chuntering to himself.
Ewen Ferguson also misses his par putt.
Rose -6 (73)
We've just seen Justin Rose closing out at the 18th.
The wily veteran has had a very tough weekend having been one off the lead after two rounds.
He's finished with a one-over 73, 10 shots back as things stand.
Fitzpatrick -13, Ferguson -13, Reed -14 (8)
We've not seen much of Ewen Ferguson recently but here's the Scot on the par-four ninth. He's come up short of the green and is looking at a low chip-and-run through a swale. Decent effort but he's left himself with an eight-footer for par.
Matt Fitzpatrick is also chipping onto the ninth green and his effort is half that distance away.
Meanwhile, Patrick Reed is staring down a 20-footer from the edge of the green and the American drains it. Four birdies and 31 strokes for his first nine holes.
It's a good day to be playing the back nine so far.
Only one hole is scoring above par - the 15th - and there are oodles of opportunities to make a move.
That's where our leaders are heading.
Noren -16, Saddier -15, Hatton -14 (8)
Adrien Saddier is up first. about 20 feet, slight left-to-right, and he's tentative again.
Alex Noren from a fraction closer, different angle, down the hill and his ball pulls up two rotations short of dropping.
Has Tyrrell Hatton learned anything? He's got about 15 feet, also left-to-right. Ooooh... he doesn't like that. Tyrrell is up and walking after his ball almost as soon as he hits it. He jabs in the par putt from a couple of feet and then flicks his ball into the pond. Not a happy bunny.
Couvra -14 (14)
I mentioned Martin Couvra a while back and the French rookie has found another birdie to move to -6 for today and within two shots of Alex Noren.
The world 136 has seven birdies on his card today - three in a row!
Rahm -13 (17)
The 17th is Jon Rahm's penultimate opportunity to put his foot down and he's chipping from the rough for eagle.
Fine attempt from the Spaniard as he rolls it close.
A birdie and back to -13.
Can he find an eagle at the last to set a target?
Noren -16, Saddier -15, Hatton -14 (7)
The eighth at Wentworth is the stuff of nightmares for us amateurs, with a huge pond defending the green.
Of course, it's no bother for the pros and Noren, Hatton and Saddier all flick wedges over the wet stuff to set up birdie looks.
Fichardt -13, Hall -11, Hovland -12 (8)
Thirteen under is a spot Viktor Hovland is eyeing at the eighth green.
Eighteen feet is the opportunity and it's not dropped. He stays at -12.
Harry Hall does cash in though and moves up to -11.
There are so many players making moves today - and with the leaders not separating themselves, it's a real scramble for position.
Darius van Driel of the Netherlands and Martin Couvra of France are both five under today and three back.
Oliver Lindell from Finland is four under and also at -13.
Not stellar names, but in the mix!
