    Scott Elstone signs a new two-year contract with Derbyshire committing him to the club until the end of the 2016 season.

    The 23-year-old, who joined the county during the winter on an initial one-year deal, has been awarded a new contract after making an impressive start to the 2014 campaign.

    Elstone hit a career-best unbeaten 212 for the Second XI against Worcestershire in April, earning him a call-up to Graeme Welch's four-day side where he made his first-class debut in the recent fixture against Kent.

    "Ajax boss Frank de Boer says nobody from Tottenham has been in touch with him about their vacant managerial position.

    "Spurs have been searching for a new boss since they sacked Tim Sherwood on 13 May, and earlier today said they were not considering an unemployed manager for the post.

    "I am happy with Ajax," says De Boer 44, who has won the Dutch league title in each of the last four seasons. "If a club comes to speak to me I will listen to them, but I am going on holiday now and that is the most important thing for me."

    It is a busy evening in the T20 Blast competition with eight matches taking place.

    At 17:30 BST, we have Gloucestershire v Middlesex, Nottinghamshire v Worcestershire, Somerset v Kent.

    Later on, the other games are Derbyshire v Lancashire, Essex v Glamorgan, Northants v Leicestershire, Sussex v Hampshire and Birmingham v Yorkshire (Warwickshire are known as the Birmingham Bears for the T20 Blast tournament). Sussex are aiming for their third successive victory in the competition.

    Derby will welcome back midfielder Craig Bryson for Saturday's Championship play-off final with QPR after he missed the play-off semi-final second-leg win over Brighton with a back problem.

    QPR expect on-loan Tottenham defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto to overcome a knee injury and midfielder Niko Kranjcar should also recover from a hamstring injury suffered in the semi-final second leg.

    Carl Froch and George Groves agree on the referee for their world title rematch at Wembley next Saturday.

    Charlie Fitch, of New York, is likely to be the third man in the ring.

    Following what he perceived as Howard Foster's "early" stoppage in the first fight, Groves insisted no British official should take charge. He last refereed a world title fight 18 months ago and his appointment is yet to be ratified by the British Boxing Board of Control.

    James Ward became the first British player to qualify for the French Open in 41 years earlier and admits he cancelled training on Saturday to watch his beloved Arsenal win the FA Cup at Wembley.

    In winning through three qualifying matches, Ward equalled John Lloyd's achievement in 1973 and secured a Grand Slam spot.

    He says: "It's massive because it's a Grand Slam, it's the reason you play tennis. It's special - obviously there was a lot at stake."

    Slovenian midfielder Koren, 33, made 151 appearances for the Tigers while Senegalese centre-half Faye, 36, turned out 31 times for the club but only three times in the 2013-14 season.
