    British Team Sky cyclist Jonathan Tiernan-Locke denies asking for his anti-doping hearing to be delayed.

    The 29-year-old's case was due to take place next week but the United Kingdom anti-doping agency said the delay was "at the athlete's request".

    "I most certainly did not ask for any such thing," Tiernan Locke tells the Plymouth Herald., external "One of my legal team is involved in another case and that has or is over-running by a couple of days."

    "Chelsea are in advanced talks with Paris St-Germain over the sale of David Luiz for around £40m.

    "The 27-year-old Brazil international joined the Blues from Benfica for £21.3m in January 2011. He has made 143 appearances, featuring predominantly at centre-back but also as a defensive midfielder.

    "Luiz has three years left on a five-year contract he signed in September 2012."

    Gerard Deulofeu's time at Everton seems to be over as he takes to Twitter, external to thank the club's fans for their support during his loan spell.

    The Spaniard, 20, joined on loan from Barcelona at the start of the season and scored four times in 29 appearances during his debut campaign in England, but his messages of thanks imply he will not stay on Merseyside.

    "I am proud and fulfilled with my year at Everton," he tweets. "I have grown as a football player, but also as a person and that is why I would like to thank every person that has helped and accompanied me on this journey."

    New Norwich manager Neil Adams is resigned to losing players following the club's relegation from the Premier League.

    Adams, 48, replaced the sacked Chris Hughton with five games of the season to go but could not stop Norwich's slide into the Championship.

    "Obviously last year we didn't score enough goals so that's a department we need to address," says Adams. "And there are other players we need to have a look at, to see whether they're going to be part of the plans or not."

    England striker Rickie Lambert says he is shocked Southampton parted company with two coaches who helped him become an international player.

    On Tuesday, Jason Dodd and Paul Williams, who held coaching roles with their under-18s, left the Saints.

    Lambert, 32, says: "At Bristol Rovers I first had the confidence to be a striker but it was at Southampton that my whole lifestyle changed and a lot of it has to do with Jason Dodd and Paul Williams. It was disappointing to hear the news."
