    Some better news for the British challenge at the PGA Championship as Rory McIlroy eagles the par five 12th for the second day running. He is now two under, eight off leader Thomas Bjorn who tees off at 12:55 BST.

    Elsewhere, Lee Westwood is two under today and three under overall after 13 holes. He shares the same mark as Ian Poulter who is on the 15th.

    Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale will be fit for Real Madrid in Saturday's Champions League final, but Atletico Madrid are waiting on the fitness of top-scorer Diego Costa.

    The 25-year-old has trained after receiving horse placenta treatment on a hamstring problem.

    Ronaldo is the leading scorer in this year's competition with 16 goals. The Portuguese, Bale and Costa have hit a combined 73 La Liga goals this season.

    Saturday night will see the first meeting of two teams from the same city in a Champions League final when Real Madrid take on Atletico Madrid in Lisbon.

    The sides have met four times already this season, with Real twice victorious and Atletico only earning one crucial win in the exchange as they moved towards the La Liga title.

    Los Blancos seek to end a 12-year wait for the trophy they so highly covet while Atletico are playing in their first European Cup final in 40 years.

    Speaking of Bellamy, former Wales assistant manager Mark Bowen tips the former striker to be a successful manager.

    Bowen tells BBC Radio Wales: "I spoke to Craig when I went down to Cardiff with Stoke towards the end of the season and the first thing he said to me was 'I think I'm ready'."

    Bellamy retired on Thursday, ending an 18-year career in which he represented nine clubs.
