    Toulouse wing Yoann Huget has received a formal warning for feigning injury during his team's European Champions Cup defeat against Bath last Sunday.

    European Professional Club Rugby said the warning was issued by match citing commissioner John Charles.

    France international Huget was seen to perform a blatant dive in an attempt to gain a penalty for foul play during the Pool Four clash, which Bath won 35-18 at Stade Ernest Wallon.

    England bowler James Anderson insists sledging in cricket is no worse in the modern game than in previous years.

    Australia's David Warner clashed with Rohit Sharma last week when he told the India batsman to "speak English".

    The International Cricket Council has warned that on-field spats will not be tolerated at the World Cup next month.

    Sampdoria are optimistic Samuel Eto'o will join them this month, despite the Cameroon forward failing so far to reach an agreement with Everton to leave the club.

    The 33-year-old has reportedly agreed an 18-month contract with Samp and is willing to reduce his wages by 40 per cent in order to return to Italy.

    However, the former Barcelona star remains contracted to Everton until June 2016 and the Toffees want to find a replacement for him before any deal is concluded.

    "Our agreement with Eto'o has almost been finalised," said Sampdoria sporting director Carlo Osti. "It might take a day more than expected, but we are moderately optimistic and hope he can arrive as soon as possible."

    American Dustin Johnson denies he has had a drug problem but admits "drinking to excess" is an issue he had to address.

    In July, the 30-year-old said he was taking time out from the game to confront "personal challenges" and as a result missed the Ryder Cup.

    It was reported by Golf.com that Johnson was serving a six-month ban after testing positive for cocaine.

    "I did not have a problem," he told Sports Illustrated magazine when asked specifically about the drug. "I have issues. But that's not the issue."

    He added: "Like everyone I'm tested regularly by the Tour and as far as that's concerned ... I haven't failed anything. I would drink and drink to excess. The change I made is I just don't do that any more."

    It is not only new signings that Manchester United are thinking about this month - they're also preoccupied with rodents.

    According to the Daily Mail,, external the club is dealing with a mice infestation at Old Trafford.

    The paper says it has seen a hygiene report which reveals the club is 'working with pest control contractors to monitor problems with rodents in the North and South stands'.

    It is certainly true that mice have been spotted on the pitch before, even during games. The one below, for instance - and apologies for those with a mouse phobia - was running around during a Premier League match between the Red Devils and Bolton in 2008. Fortunately he avoided the studs of 22 grown men and lived to tell the tale.

    Hamilton full-back Stephen Hendrie has been the subject of an offer in excess of £2m from West Ham, BBC Scotland reveals.

    Hendrie, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is a Scotland Under-21 international who has made more than 100 appearances for Hamilton since breaking into the first team in 2011.

    The NFL says it is continuing to investigate New England Patriots amid claims 11 balls were deflated in a win that sent them to the Super Bowl.

    "We're still awaiting findings," said Troy Vincent, an executive with American football's governing body.

    The Patriots beat Indianapolis 45-7 in driving rain and flat balls are said to be easier to catch in wet conditions.

    A 12-year-old called Stephan White has become something of a cult hero after telling Chinese keeper Wang Dalei which way to dive before he faced a penalty from Saudi Arabia's Naif Hazazi. Dalei saved it, and crucial it was too as China won their AFC Asian Cup group stage match in Brisbane 1-0.

    White, an Aussie, was surrounded by media and even invited to meet the Chinese team after his intervention.

    His mother Suzie has revealed that her son has been selected as ballboy again for tomorrow's quarter-final between Australia and China... but that he has been told he will not be stationed behind either goal in case of another penalty being awarded.

    The three-day event is a direct legacy of last summer's spectacularly successful Tour de France Grand Depart in the county.

    Bridlington will host the start of the first stage on May 1, while the race - whose route will re-trace some sections of that used for the Tour de France - finishes in Leeds on May 3.

    Gary Verity, chief executive of Welcome To Yorkshire, said: "Our aspiration for this is clear, and that is to make it the best race of its kind in the world."

    Arsenal are set to complete a second signing of the day, according to according to Spanish news outlet El Largueroa.

    After bringing in teenage midfielder Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw earlier in the day, it is claimed that Arsene Wenger will also complete the signing of Villarreal defender Gabriel Paulista, a 24-year-old Brazilian, in a deal worth £15m.

    The impact of sportswomen's menstrual cycle on performance is "the last taboo" in sport, says former British tennis number one Annabel Croft.

    Croft told BBC Radio 5 live that women "suffer in silence" on the subject. Her comments came after British number one Heather Watson's Australian Open first-round defeat, in which she admitted to feeling unwell.

    Derby County club captain Shaun Barker has described his return to first-team training after nearly three years out injured as "not far off a miracle".

    Barker dislocated his right kneecap and damaged ligaments against Nottingham Forest in March 2012 but always said the injury would not end his career.
