    Wales internationals Hayley Ladd, Nadia Lawrence and Sharla Passariello have signed for Women's Super League side Bristol Academy for the 2015 season.

    Ladd, 21, is a former Arsenal and Coventry City utility player, while forward Lawrence, 25, has signed for the Vixens after a spell in Iceland. Passariello, 23, came through Bristol's youth team but has spent the last four years playing in the USA for South Florida Bulls.

    Speaking at a meeting of the campaign group 'New Fifa Now' in Brussels, the former sports minister, Gerry Sutcliffe MP, confirmed that the FA had agreed to hand over a number of specific files to the culture, media and sport select committee.

    Former Premier League striker DJ Campbell has told the BBC that he was pushed to the brink of retirement and his family were verbally abused, as he fought to clear his name from allegations of match-fixing.

    In his first interview since the Crown Prosecution Service dropped all charges against him last week, Campbell discussed a 'nightmare' 15 months and revealed that he still harbours ambitions to return to the highest level of the game. "There were a few times when I was thinking 'should I pack it all in?' And I was fairly close to doing that," he said.
