    The Isle of Man's second TT practice session has been cancelled because of high winds and heavy rain.

    Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson confirmed his decision at 14:00 BST but said Tuesday's session would "continue as normal".

    The Met Office said 65mph winds were forecast for the Isle of Man later on Monday, combined with heavy rain.

    The session had been scheduled to get under way at 18:20 BST on the Mountain Course.

    Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind believes the club have a good chance of challenging for the Premier League title next season.

    The Red Devils finished fourth in Louis van Gaal's first season in charge but were 17 points adrift of champions Chelsea and nine behind second-placed Manchester City.

    "I think we're not far off," Blind said in an interview for Manchester United's season review DVD.

    "If you look at the games we've played against the top teams, we've won a lot of points and a club like Manchester United will always aim to win the title. Next year, we're going to do that."

    Heather Rabbatts, one of the Football Association's two independent directors, has resigned from FIFA's anti-discrimination task force following Sepp Blatter's re-election as president.

    Rabbatts said it was "unacceptable" that so little has been done to reform FIFA and that the latest corruption crisis was "disastrous" for the world governing body's reputation.

    Her action follows FA vice-chairman David Gill rejecting his place on the FIFA executive committee in protest at Blatter's election victory.

    Rabbatts had been a member of FIFA's anti-discrimination task force chaired by Jeffrey Webb, the FIFA vice-president from the Cayman Islands who was one of the seven officials arrested in Zurich on corruption charges last week.

    It is the story that won't go away. And here is the latest on Fifa.

    South Africa did pay $10m (£6.5m) to a football body led by Jack Warner, a figure at the centre of Fifa corruption allegations, local media say.

    Danny Jordaan, head of South Africa's FA, is quoted as confirming that the amount was deducted from a Fifa payment to the country in 2008.

    A subsequent letter requested that money to be sent, instead, to the Caribbean Football Union, reports say. South African officials deny it was a bribe to secure the 2010 World Cup.
