BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Bob Hunt at Derby:

    Gloucestershire 329, Derbyshire 6-0

"Jack Taylor reached his maiden first class ton for Gloucestershire as his side moved into a strong position at Derby.

"Having lost Michael Klinger in the first over without adding to his overnight score of 93 followed by Craig Miles, Taylor found a staunch ally in David Payne and the two tail-enders added 74 before Taylor was finally caught at third man for 120.

"Gloucestershire were finally all out for 329 leaving Derbyshire to negotiate a tricky spell before lunch."

  7. Northants toil in Cardiffpublished at 13:28 British Summer Time 1 June 2015

BBC Radio Wales Sport's Nick Webb in Cardiff:

Glamorgan 371, Northants 79-5 (day two)

"Northants were left struggling at lunch after a purple patch from Glamorgan's seamers midway through the morning session.

"The visitors lost five wickets for the addition of just five runs at one point, Michael Hogan and Craig Meschede claiming two victims apiece.

"But Adam Rossington and Josh Cobb added 46 unbeaten runs to ease the pressure."

    Lord'sImage source, PA

BBC London 94.9's Kevin Hand at Lord's:

Warwickshire 216-5 v Middlesex (day two)

"It was an even morning at Lord's but Warwickshire will be the happier of the sides as they reach lunch on the second day of this rain affected match on 216-5.

"Only 68 runs were added with two wickets falling in the 26 overs that were possible in between a couple of brief showers.

"The greenish pitch is offering a great deal of assistance to the bowlers but a tremendous spell from the seam pairing of Steven Finn and Toby Roland-Jones to open the first hour was hampered by a ball that was already 50 overs old at the start of play."

  10. Roy smashes century for Surreypublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 1 June 2015

BBC London 94.9's Mark Church at The Oval:

Surrey 289-4 v Lancashire (day two)

"He has scored 111 before lunch with a range of scintillating shots. At the other end Steven Davies has sensibly moved onto 71 and the partnership is worth 215.

"I'm not sure there is much more the Lancashire bowlers could have done this morning. It has just been inspired."

BBC Radio Leicester's Richard Rae at Chelmsford:

Essex 166, Leicestershire 102-2 (lunch, day two)

"Steady, if unspectacular, progress is being made by Leicestershire in their first innings after bowling out Essex yesterday.

"While conditions are easier for batting than they were on Sunday, there is still plenty in the pitch for the bowlers, and the Essex seamers have worked hard and been rewarded with two wickets - those of Matt Boyce and Ned Eckersley. Angus Robson is grafting it out on 43 from 114 balls, and Foxes' skipper Mark Cosgrove is still playing himself in.

"The clouds are beginning to gather rather menacingly, but the crowd, watching the various school parties playing impromptu games on the outfield, and listening to the "Hot Jazz" band, is happy enough."

  13. Sussex on top at Trent Bridgepublished at 13:15 British Summer Time 1 June 2015

BBC Radio Nottingham's Dave Bracegirdle at Trent Bridge:

Notts 63-6 v Sussex (day one)

"Sussex enjoyed the better of a rain-shortened morning. After winning the toss and inserting the hosts, Sussex's opening bowlers exploited the seam-friendly conditions to reduce Notts to 34-4 in the opening hour.

"Steve Magoffin had two successful lbw shouts, removing Brendan Taylor for nine - his sixth straight dismissal in that manner - and James Taylor for nought.

    Chris JordanImage source, Getty Images

"Chris Jordan (pictured) showed his athleticism to spring to his left to take a sharp one-handed caught-and-bowled offering from Steven Mullaney, before nipping one back to uproot two of Alex Hales' stumps.

"After a 25-minute rain delay, Magoffin struck twice more, finding the edge to have Riki Wessels caught behind for seven and Samit Patel taken at slip for 17."

Here's BBC Radio Solent's Kevan James from the Ageas Bowl.

Hampshire 222 all out v Worcestershire

    gettyImage source, Getty Images

"I'm allowed to start training fully, but there's no rugby to be played so it's a bit of a blessing that I won't take contact for another few weeks now which is even better for my recovery," he said.

"It is frustrating, but it's not been a bad frustration because you know you have only got one head. Northampton have been amazing with me from minute one. When you only have one head you don't mess around with that."
