    AG2R's French rider Alexis Gougeard has won stage 19 of the Vuelta a Espana, a 185.8km route from Medina del Campo to Avila.

    Giant-Alpecin's Tom Dumoulin leads the overall classification, but by just three seconds, with Italian Fabio Aru in close contention.

    the race finishes on Sunday - it should be a cracker.

    Lancashire have signed wicketkeeper/batsman Phil Mustard on loan from Durham for the rest of the season.

    The 32-year-old is needed because Lancashire keeper Alex Davies has a knee injury.

    The Red Rose county have already won promotion from Division Two of the County Championship, but next face title rivals Surrey at Old Trafford.

    The Etixx-Quick Step team say Cavendish crashed about 20km into today's stage from Stoke to Nottingham. His sports director Brian Holm said it looked like he had hit a parked car and injured the same shoulder as at the 2014 Tour de France. They are awaiting news from hospital.
