A little bit of background on David De Gea's new deal at Manchester United.
The deal is the same one that was on the table in the summer and, when the mooted move to Real Madrid fell through, chief executive Ed Woodward approached the De Gea camp and asked if he would sign.
It has been stressed to the Spaniard by various people, including manager Louis van Gaal, that he is an important part of the club's plans.
United are not saying if there is a release clause in the deal but point out that, if Real want De Gea at the end of the season they will now have to pay, whereas previously they would have got him for nothing.

Just arrived at Carrington, where Louis van Gaal will be talking about David de Gea.
This place cost around £60m to build, which is not much more than Manchester United might end up paying Monaco for deadline day signing Anthony Martial.
The 19-year-old had only completed four 90 games in senior football before the start of this season.

England v Australia
In the penultimate match of the series at Headingley England had reduced Australia to 222-7 after 44 overs. I say had because the last six overs then produced 77 runs, as a partnership of 84 in 51 balls between Matthew Wade and Johnn Hastings took the tourists to 299-7.
England need to win to keep the series alive and take it to a decider on Sunday at Old Trafford.

I think both Real Madrid and the press expected this news. But for the fans it’s surprising, a player who just 12 days ago was about to sign for Real Madrid is now renewing his contract with Manchester United.
The only option he had to keep on playing at Manchester United. He was pressed by the club and it’s normal that he did it.
It’s difficult to say right now if Real Madrid will try to sign him again. Real president Florentino Perez still wants De Gea, but now he has another enemy, which is Manchester United, even bigger than before. So now the problem is not De Gea but the club.

Nottinghamshire 204 & 262-5, Durham 372
BBC Radio Nottingham's Dave Bracegirdle at Trent Bridge:
"Nottinghamshire produced an effective counter-attack on the third morning against Durham, thanks to a classy fifth-wicket partnership of 153 between Riki Wessels and Samit Patel.
"Wessels made 85 and was the sole wicket to fall during the session, caught at slip off Barry McCarthy, as Notts reached lunch with an overall lead of 94."
Kent 309 & 396-2, Glamorgan 207
BBC Radio Kent's Ben Watts at Swalec Stadium:
"Another session dominated by the visitors as Rob Key and Joe Denly set a new record partnership for the second wicket against Glamorgan of 222.
"Denly passed 1000 first-class runs for the summer on his way to 132 not out at the interval, while Sam Northeast (24 not out) reached 2000 runs in all cricket for Kent this season."
Hampshire 240 & 74-0, Somerset 630-9 dec
BBC Somerset's Stephen Lamb at Taunton:
"Somerset eventually declared their first innings after a flurry of strokes from Jim Allenby and the Overton twins extended their lead to 390.
"Allenby finished unbeaten on 56, while two wickets for the slow left-arm of Liam Dawson enabled him to finish with figures of 5-139."
