Tottenham v Arsenal (19:45 BST)
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed striker Olivier Giroud to help the Gunners knock rivals Tottenham out of the Capital One Cup at White Hart Lane.
The France international is in line to return to the starting XI for tonight's north London derby, with Theo Walcott having led the attack at Chelsea.
"Giroud is a guy who has a positive attitude, who is ready to have a go," Wenger said on Arsenal Player.
"He has assets in the game, which are vital because he can protect the ball, can hold the ball and can bring other plays in, that is one of the big parts of his game and that is why he creates so many chances and that is why the other players love him and love to play with him as well."

Scotland v Japan (Wed, 14:30 BST)
Japan lit up the Rugby World Cup when they shocked South Africa at the weekend, while their fans have stripped the shelves of merchandise in the UK.
However, rugby fever doesn't appear to be sweeping Japan itself just yet. BBC Monitoring report that the RWC does not make the top headlines or even feature prominently on the sports page of English language Japanese websites. Baseball and other sports are given preference.
However, Japan Times’ sport section was an exception and they were leading with a match preview., external
Other newspapers such as Asahi, external and Manichi, external have carried reports on the World Cup in the past, but they are using agency copy for now.
