    Match referee Chris Broad of England found the tourists fell two overs short in the stipulated time during their tense five-run win at the Green Park stadium in Kanpur on Sunday.

    Proteas captain AB de Villiers was fined 40% of his undisclosed match fee and the rest of the team 20%.

    De Villiers faces suspension if he is again found guilty of maintaining a slow over-rate over the next 12 months.

    Wakefield Trinity Wildcats coach Brian Smith has signed a one-year contract extension.

    The 61-year-old joined the Wildcats on a deal until the end of the season in May, with the club having lost 12 of their 13 Super League fixtures.

    Smith guided them to fourth in The Qualifiers and helped them retain their Super League status with victory over Bradford in the Million Pound Game.

    Middlesbrough's Glen Durrant defeated Larry Butler of the USA 7-3 in the final to win the BDO World Masters title in Hull.

    The 44-year-old will be the number one seed for the 2016 World Championships at Lakeside in January, and will face Dean Reynolds of Wales in the first round.

    Moto GP rider Alex de Angelis is expected to have further medical tests following a crash in practice for the Japanese GP that left him with bleeding on the brain.

    The San Marino racer, 31, is still in a critical condition in hospital but is able to talk to doctors, a statement read., external He also sustained bruising of the lungs, broken ribs, vertebrae and collarbone in the Saturday's crash.

    "At Arsenal, I am in competition with Theo for the striker position. But he is doing well at the moment, so there is no reason to change," Giroud said.

    "Whether it was at Tours, Montpellier or Arsenal, I have never experienced a situation like this, I have often played from the start. I need to harden myself mentally.

    The fourth and final qualifying qualifying round draw for the FA Cup is due to take place at 11:00 BST.

    Two tier nine teams - Sporting Khalsa, based in Willenhall, West Midlands, and Hertfordshire-based Hoddesdon Town - are still in but both are facing replays, as are Salford City and FC United of Manchester. 

    The lowest-ranked teams definitely through are tier eight sides AFC Rushden and Diamonds, Didcot Town and AFC Hornchurch.
