One of the more interesting exchanges of Jose Mourinho's news conference came when he was asked to comment on newspaper reports suggesting he would cut short the season-long loan spell of Radamel Falcao, and let the striker return to Monaco in January.
"I speak with Falcao every day," mourinho said. "It's quite strange the press know something I don't know and my club doesn't know."

Mourinho reveals that he didn't realise Saturday's win over Aston Villa marked his 200th win as manager of Chelsea.

You know how it is when you're injured during a match.
You just want to be carried gently and quickly off the pitch, then get some treatment.
Well, maybe someone might want to tell that to the physio at Greek Second Division club Ergotelis.
In what has to be video of the day, here they are carrying injured midfielder Leonardo Koutris from the pitch ... dropping him only the two times en route to the touchline. Comedy gold.
Formula 1
Lewis Hamilton insists he is not "taking anything for granted" as he closes in on a third Formula One world championship.
The 30-year-old will become the first British driver to successfully defend his grand prix crown if he wins in Austin on Sunday and Sebastian Vettel, now his closest challenger, finishes third or lower.
"I've learned from experience that nothing is ever done until it's done in this sport, so I won't be taking anything for granted going into the weekend," said Hamilton.

Which sporting personality would you choose to run their sport and why?
Glyn Smith: Barry Hearn has reinvigorated flagging sports (Darts & Snooker) so he'd be my pick. Visionary.
Dave W: If you want integrity ask Bobby Charlton to run FIFA for 2 years. He would be elected unopposed.
King Zorba: I'd get Cristiano Ronaldo to run FIFA. There's a man who can look at himself in the mirror.

The Irishman has only begun two games so far for the U's.
"I've got to wait for my chance and hopefully that animal instinct comes out when it does," he told BBC Sport.

For those who haven't followed today's events:
Earlier, Leeds sacked head coach Uwe Rosler after 12 games in charge and have handed Steve Evans a deal until the end of the season.
Rosler, 46, took charge of the Elland Road side in May but Saturday's defeat by Championship leaders Brighton means they are without a home win all season.

More from Leeds owner Massimo Cellino...
On backing Uwe Rosler in September: "I was sincere when I said that. But I've not slept in the international break and have to make decisions."
Cellino says Evans will have to work with the existing squad. "We have a good team. I like his [Evans] passion, fight and he is determined."

Had a quick word with Massimo Cellino, who says Steve Evans will be on a rolling contract until June after being brought in to replace Uwe Rosler earlier on Monday.
Cellino told me that with Rosler: "It wasn't working. I could not see the team improving. I'm not saying he is a bad coach. He's good but sometimes the coach does not fit at the right time with the team."
