James McClean could be in trouble for his celebratory gesture in front of the Sunderland fans at the end of West Brom's win over his former club on Saturday.

The incident came on the same day that the club published an article with him in the match programme saying how much he's matured. Furthermore, manager Tony Pulis calling him "not the sharpest tool in the box" may lead to an uncomfortable atmosphere when the two do come together to discuss the matter.

Earlier on, we asked which sporting personality you would chose to run their sport and why...

Lord Jonnie: I would clone Dave Brailsford so we have lots of him to run all our sports.

FK: Kimi Raikkonen should run F1, less talk, more action. When he talks, he'll likely say "Leave me alone, I know what I'm doing".

PtheP: Joey Barton to run Fifa because he speaks French .. sort of.

Over to Newcastle, where head coach - very different from manager you understand - Steve McClaren said he has had "enormous support from within the club" despite his side's difficult start to the season.

After thrashing Norwich 6-2 on Sunday, the Magpies boss said: "You are going to get protests and people not happy when you change the coaches.

"There is so much potential, but still a long way to go."

Prior to victory, Newcastle were on their longest winless start to a season since 1898 and had won just once in their previous 19 league games.

"You have to give 100% commitment and concentration. It's important for us to go into game tomorrow as same mentality as in the Premier League.

"We've had good performances and results against Bayern. Their striker Robert Lewandowski has done really well in the last few years, and scored lots of goals this season. But we have quality defenders."

    Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger:

"We have belief and confidence we are doing something right. We could be a little bit suspected of not taking the first two games at the right level, of taking opponents seriously enough.

"Let's take positives from our form in the league. We have played great Bayern teams - the one that won the treble. We have had good results against them.

"All the English teams have some ground to make up. The concentration of playing in the Premier League needs to be so high it takes too much energy out of us [English teams]."
