We mentioned earlier on that Chelsea have lost all five of their penalty shootouts under Jose Mourinho's management. That got us thinking about other teams' familiar flaws, so we want you to tell us...

What is your team's historic Achillies heel?

It might be missing penalties, conceding from long range or losing cup finals. Or it might be something much more unusual. The less obvious the better.

Congratulations to Hull, who shocked Premier League high-flyers Leicester City on penalties to move into the quarter-finals of the League Cup.

Midfielder David Meyler struck the winning fifth penalty for Steve Bruce's Championship side.

"We made eight changes and beat a Premier League team, which was terrific," said a delighted Bruce.

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri was not so chuffed but gracious in defeat, saying: "It was important to use all our players. In the end we lost to one penalty so well done to Hull City."

First to Everton, who beat Norwich on penalties to move into the quarter-finals.

Sebastien Bassong opened the scoring for Norwich, who had several chances to increase their lead, before Leon Osman levelled from Kevin Mirallas's pass.

Darron Gibson then hit the winning penalty in the shootout.

"I thought it was a fantastic cup tie," said Roberto Martinez. "Credit to Norwich, they got the crowd frustrated in spells but we dealt with that really well."

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted using "too many experienced players" after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott were injured in defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.

Walcott replaced Oxlade-Chamberlain but left the field on 18 minutes and both will have scans on muscular injuries.

"We are short now with the injuries," added the 66-year-old Frenchman, who has six other first-team players out.

"I have to manage the workload of the players and at the end of the day I think I maybe brought too many experienced players here."

If Chelsea are sick to the back teeth today, spare a thought for Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger's men, supreme in the Premier League at the moment, and conquerors of mighty Bayern Munich, were well and truly crushed at Championship Sheffield Wednesday ... despite naming a pretty strong side indeed.

Ross Wallace, Lucas Joao and Sam Hutchinson were on target for the Owls, whose manager Carlos Carvalhal said gave his team just a  "10% chance of progress" ahead of the match.

"I am very happy," said said Carvalhal. "It was a full stadium, with a new generation of fans. We deserved what we got."

But first to Chelsea and when your luck's out...

Jose Mourinho's miserable season - and by crikey it has been miserable - took another turn for the worse as the holders were knocked out of the League Cup by Stoke after a penalty shootout.

Jon Walters put the home side ahead, Loic Remy drilled in an injury-time equaliser - seconds before Stoke's Phil Bardsley was sent off for two bookings.

Chelsea, with the extra man, were then favourites to win, right?

Erm, afraid not. Extra time was goalless - then Stoke scored all of their spot-kicks to clinch victory, Eden Hazard missing the crucial, final penalty ... neatly summing up the Belgan's season.
