Leeds chairman Massimo Cellino will sell his majority stake in the club for £30m, according to Leeds Fans United chief executive Dylan Thwaites.

Cellino announced on Friday that he was willing to agree a takeover with supporters and forgo any profit.

"Massimo invited us to buy his majority stake and has agreed to sell to us at cost, at the money he has put into the club," Thwaites told BBC Radio Leeds.

"If we look at Companies House there's certainly £30m or so of new equity."

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Former England defender Danny Mills believes football referees do not have respect for players.

Discussing the recent charges issued by the FA to Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and West Brom head coach Tony Pulis for comments they made to officials, Mills said: "Do football referees have respect for players? I don't think they do.

“If you look at some of their decisions, they just wave people away and say, 'oi you, come ere'."

Rod Stewart has been on Afternoon Edition bemoaning "a bad couple of months for Scottish sport", which culminated in Vern Cotter's side being beaten by Australia at the Rugby World Cup.

"My nine-year-old cried his eyes out when Scotland went out," said Rod, who shed a tear or two of his own when Celtic beat Barcelona in 2012.

"Lots of guys cry at football," he added. "It was one of the experiences of my life I'll never forget. My favourite football match in fact."

    5. Stay in the Premier League

    Mark Regan

After flirting with the drop for a few years, there's a growing feeling that this season Villa may not dodge the drop this time.

After 11 games, they are bottom and need 36 points from 27 games to get to the 40-point mark. Their next six league games include matches with Manchester City, Everton, Southampton and Arsenal, so it's already a big challenge for Garde to keep them up.

How they do it doesn`t really matter just as long as they do.

    4. Offer leadership

    Mark Regan
    BBC WM Sport

I'm not sure that there's a team in the Premier League afraid of Villa or playing at Villa Park. The entire club lacks leadership, is rudderless and is held back by a “comfort culture”. Sadly it`s been that way for a few years now.

Owner Randy Lerner wants to sell and chief executive Tom Fox is conspicuous by his absence from the media.

Far too often the fans at home turn up to be let down. Garde has to find a way to give the whole club direction and leadership.

    Mark Regan

As Brian Clough used to say, 'All great sides are built on clean sheets'. Villa`s last one in the league was in the opening day victory over Bournemouth and, since then, they have let in 20 goals in 10 games.

Villa simply can`t give two goals to anyone in the Premier League and hope to win the game. At the moment they are a soft touch and need to become harder to score against.

Jordan Ayew, Jordan Veretout, Jordan Amavi, Jose Angel Crespo, Idrissa Gueye, Adama Traore and Tiago Ilori were all brought in over the summer but none have managed to secure a regular starting place.

None of them started against Spurs so Garde must assess them and ask a fundamental question, are they good enough? If not then he has to focus on those are he feels can help the club survive.
