    Newcastle Falcons winger Sinoti Sinoti has signed a new long-term contract with the Premiership club.

    The 30-year-old is currently sidelined with a leg injury sustained while player for Samoa in the summer.

    "Sinoti is a quality player and brings a lot of power, aggression and go-forward to the table," said boss Dean Richards.

    They report, man of the moment, Sam Burgess is wanted by Leeds Rhinos.

    They have told his club, Bath, they are interested in signing the 26-year-old if he decides to call time on his rugby union career.

    They are on 58-0, just 14 runs from wiping out England's first innings lead.

    It means with two and a bit days to go, and the pitch deteriorating, the contest is on a knife edge.

    England need victory, remember, to avoid defeat in the series.

    Stoke City striker Peter Crouch insists he still has a future with the Premier League club, despite being underused so far this season. 

    The 34-year-old former England international has managed just 45 minutes of league action in three substitute appearances.

    "Ideally, I want to force my way back in and play in a few more games," he told BBC Radio Stoke. "But I enjoy playing for this club and it's a good place to be right now."

    Amir Khan says his team is in negotiations to fight with Manny Pacquiao in what would be the Filipino great's final bout before taking to full-time politics.

    Winner of world titles in eight different weight classes, the 36-year-old Pacquiao is recovering from a surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff following his defeat to Floyd Mayweather Jr in May.

    "It would be an amazing fight, two fighters who know each other really well," Khan said. "We have trained together, sparred together and obviously I have left it to my team.

    "I'm on a vacation here, my office arranges the fights for me. If the fight happens, it would be an amazing fight, it would be a big fight."
