    Banned!

Two sad tales happened on this day.

2003: Shane Warne was banned from cricket for a year, ruling him out of the World Cup, after he tested positive for banned diuretics.

2010: Former Great Britain hooker Terry Newton had his contract terminated by Wakefield after admitting using human growth hormone, and was banned from all rugby for two years by UK Anti-Doping. In September 2010 Newton was found hanged at his home.

    Nishaal Rooplall:

The reign of Van Gaal, is almost over,

The question is who's gonna be the one to take over?

The fans have had enough and Van Gaal fears his reign is all over.

I hope we see him leaving on a plane after Monday's over!

    The Manchester United

board need to make their decision,

I really hope he gets the boot by the United inquisition!

He tried his best but it wasn’t enough, time has shown us that Van Gaal has lost his stuff!

The ending is now near, as a new leader, they now hunt...

    Who could that person

be? Is the “SPECIAL” one or the "LEGEND" in front?

We still miss Fergie and we'd love to have him back...

I personally hope that the loyal "LEGENDARY" personality gets given a crack!’

Manchester United have struggled, we've really found it hard,

We've let go of too many players trying to buy a new squad.

Giggs could be our very own Guardiola,

He could make the misery become all but over.

I really hope he gets the job, it's the right thing to do...

He deserves a real chance to show the world what he can do.

During these tough times, our hearts have started to cry,

But just like his legend status Manchester United will never die!!!!

England coach Trevor Bayliss has admitted South Africa's nine-wicket Twenty20 thrashing of his team in Johannesburg was "men against boys".

South Africa needed only 14.4 overs to reach their target of 172, with AB de Villiers making 71 in just 29 balls.

It gave them a 2-0 T20 series win to go with their 3-2 one-day series victory.

"The first half of the trip was very exciting," Bayliss said. "But we got worse as the series went on and South Africa got better."

Ronnie O'Sullivan says he needs a month's rest after displaying his brilliant skills to win seven frames in a row and beat Neil Robertson to win his fourth Welsh Open title.

Australian Robertson had won the first two frames of the best-of-17 final and extended his lead to 5-2 during the first session in Cardiff.

But O'Sullivan, 40, won the next seven frames, sealing victory with a break of 141 to move level with John Higgins on four Welsh Open titles.

"I feel shattered, I need a month of just relaxing," he said.

The previous record holder was Thierry Henry, who was 17 years and 254 days when he struck against Lens in April 1995.

By the way, Mbappe wasn't even born when Henry won the 1998 World Cup with France.

    Formula 1

Lewis Hamilton has shrugged off his finish to last season and says he is motivated to "raise the bar again" in 2016.

The British driver sealed his third world title in October but was runner-up to Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg in the last three races of the season.

"It made me think 'OK, next year Nico is going to be super quick and super strong'," Hamilton, 31, said.

The new season starts on 20 March with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.

It might be an FA Cup night but an interesting story has emerged from one of the other cup competitions.

Hereford United's name is synonimous with the FA Cup due to Ronnie Radford's brilliant goal against Newcastle in 1972.

The last few years have not been kind to the Bulls though. They ended up being liquidated midway through last season, so started the new campaign as Hereford FC in the Midland Football League.

After beating Camberley in the quarter-final on Saturday, Hereford are now just two games from Wembley in the FA Vase.

And today's semi-final draw has pitted them against another well-known name, Salisbury City, managed by BBC football pundit Steve Claridge.

Aitor Karanka is confident old friend Jose Mourinho will be back in management before long - because he is the best in the business.

Middlesbrough head coach Karanka, who served as his number two at Real Madrid, said: "I can be concerned with a coach who has been sacked one or two months ago and he doesn't have a team now and he isn't going to have a team. But Jose, I don't think he has problems to take a team next season.

"When I speak with him, I don't speak anything about his future because I know he is going to be working because he is the best."
