Arsenal v Swansea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)
Oh dear, bad news about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
We knew the winger would be out for a month or so with a knee injury he picked up against Barcelona last week, but it appears it is slightly worse than first thought.
"He will be out for six to eight weeks," says Wenger, before adding, more encouragingly, "but he won't need surgery.
"We feared he would when we saw the MRI scan but in the end it is positive news."
Arsenal v Swansea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)
I often get the feeling Arsene Wenger would make a good politician. Mind you, the same goes for any manager worth his salt. They are excellent at positive thinking and putting a nice spin on things.
"This club is built on values and what we want to do is respect them. We want to build solidarity every day," he says, sounding not unlike Winston Churchill circa 1941.
"We want to give our best until the end of the season.
"The only level of energy I put in is into my club. We want to defy all the odds that are against us."
He could have added, "We'll fight Seansea on the beaches, in the fields and streets, in the hills, and we shall never surrender" ... but alas doesn't.
Arsenal v Swansea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)
Alexis Sanchez has struggled a little lately and that's the gist of the next question directed Wenger's way.
"He's fighting to get back to his best. We want him to fight," responds the manager.
Wenger also talks about Gabriel Paulista and the young defender's efforts to settle.
"He is working very hard on his English and is improving every day," says the boss.
Arsenal v Swansea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)
If Arsenal's title hopes took a severe knock with that defeat at Manchester United, Wenger isn't showing any signs of giving in just yet.
"We want to transform negatives into positives to create more solidarity. We play to fight for the title," he tells the media.
The Gunners are in third, three points behind North London rivals Tottenham and five off table-topping Leicester.
Arsenal v Swansea (Wed, 19:45 GMT)
Mr Arsene Wenger is in the building. And, as ever, he's in talkative mood.
"We are not dwelling on results and we are focused on the Swansea game. Every home game is very important," says the manager, obviously keen to move on from a week which saw defeats to Man United and Barcelona.
"We gave a lot against Barcelona and that certainly had an impact on our belief against Manchester United.
"We're not happy with the result. We had two lapses of focus that we paid for."
Who is the best player you have played with? What made them special?

Scott Richardson:, external Played in the same Sunday League team as Danny Rose (Spurs) absolutely ran our midfield for years.
David Church: , externalAt school we played against this kid Fabio who dribbled past everybody. I was one of the only ones that could stop him.
Jake Hargreaves:, external Played alongside Aston Villa legend Shaun Teale for the Herald FC! Great player!

Who is the best player you have played with? What made them special?
So new Fifa president Gianni Infantino had a great first day at his new job, as he took part in a kickabout with some football legends including Luis Figo, Paolo Maldini, Deco, Robert Pires and Clarence Seedorf. And that has got us thinking.
We want to know who is the best player you have played with or against? What made them so special?
Did an ex-Pro turn up for your Sunday League side and run the show? Did you play alongside Wayne Rooney when you were 12? Or alternatively, is Big Dave, who had 'trials with Charlton' and scored 100 goals in the Colchester and District League Under-15s the best player you played with?

BBC Sport's Adam Pope was at the Leeds game and reacted like this on Twitter.
Brighton 4-0 Leeds
It is not, I think we're fair to speculate, a great morning for Leeds United fans.
Brighton took advantage of a first-half capitulation by Steve Evans' men at the Amex to move just two points behind Championship leaders Burnley.
It finished 4-0 and was Leeds' heaviest defeat since Steve Evans took charge in October.
Worryingly for Evans, the manager was told not to speak to the media after the match by chairman Massimo Cellino, who left the ground at half-time. Sounds ominous.

It will be interesting to hear what Mauricio Pochettino has to say at his news conference later, for there's no doubt the Premier League mind games have begun.
As the morning papers report, Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has very publicly made Tottenham title favourites, claiming the North London club are in pole position to end their 55-year wait for a top-flight title,
"Tottenham are strong in every situation," said Ranieri. "They are, in my opinion, favourites. When they defend and when they attack, they know what they want."
Crafty Claudio, crafty.
