"What more can I say about Dimitri?" wrote Sullivan on the West Ham website., external

"It was another outstanding piece of skill to execute that type of free-kick and it is not the first time we have seen him produce something like that.

"He gave one of the best keepers in Europe in David de Gea absolutely no chance with his curling effort and it once again shows why he is rated so highly by everyone at the club."

Is Rafa Benitez the right man for the job at Newcastle?

Daniel Woods: Mike Ashley should've sacked McClaren and appointed Benitez three months ago. They might have stood a chance of a mid table finish.

TK: Benitez will bring some excitement and wins to Newcastle. Now its an exciting relegation battle!

Jeff Gurr: Benitez is a solid choice for Newcastle but the relegation battle will go down to the last day. Big Sam will not go quietly.

Is Rafa Benitez the right man for the job at Newcastle?

Keith Malamo: His mentality is a more defensive than offensive game which is the key to be a success in epl folowing mourino's victory.

Peter Thomas: I think he should have waited till the season ends before signing. He can't mend a broken team.

Rossi's Regime: he is the best man for the job but as a fan I fear it's too late. Don't expect to win against Leicester tonight-  just want to see guts in team before the derby.

Kristian1982: Rafa definitely the right choice. Pardew and McClaren didn't give the city a lift without kicking a ball like Rafa has.

The Belgian cyclist at the heart of the sport's first mechanical doping scandal says she will not defend herself at a disciplinary hearing this week and is quitting the sport.

Femke van den Driessche, 19, was accused of using a concealed motor in her bike during the Under-23 cyclo-cross world championships in January in Belgium.

She said in a statement released moments ago that the costs of defending herself before the sport's governing body, the UCI, would be too expensive.

The rider says she has "decided to quit cyclo-cross" and that "acquittal would be impossible".

The motorised bike was found in her competition area at the championships. She claimed the bike belonged to a friend.
