Rafael Nadalplans to sue an ex-French government minister who said his seven-month absence in 2012 was "probably due to a positive doping test".
The Spaniard is upset with comments made by Roselyne Bachelot, who was formerly Minister for Health and Sport.
The 14-time Grand Slam winner, 29, says he will sue anyone else who alleges "something similar in the future".
Nadal says he is tired of the allegations and is no longer prepared to let them pass unchallenged. "A minister of France should be serious," he said. "This time is the time to go against her. We are going to sue her."

Manchester United's Juan Mata has just released another of his blogs on kicca.com, external and says the Reds can still win the FA Cup - despite being held by West Ham at Old Trafford.
"After Anthony Martial's late goal we still have the chance to go to Wembley and try to win the FA Cup," said Mata, who missed the match because of a suspension.
"The game was not easy and the draw takes us to a replay where West Ham will now play at home, which is an advantage for them.
"But we will go there with the belief that we can win and get to the semi finals. We've seen teams like Arsenal or Chelsea being knocked out, but our hope to get this trophy, that the club hasn't won in a few years, is still alive."

Aston Villa 0-2 Tottenham
Not surprisingly, the home fans at Villa Park - whose team remain nine points from safety with eight games remaining - were not best pleased.
Aston Villa 0-2 Tottenham
Tottenham closed the gap on leaders Leicester to two points after Harry Kane scored two goals in three minutes to sink Aston Villa.
The striker raced onto Dele Alli's quickly taken free-kick and fired past Brad Guzan just before the break.
The combination worked again moments after the interval as Kane poked in Alli's low cross.
Villa mustered just two shots on target as they slipped to a fifth-straight league defeat.

Geoff Naylor: Great to see Premiership B teams - Watford, Everton, Palace, West Ham and Manchester United - being successful in the FA Cup.

Stephen Gallacher's hopes of qualifying for a second Ryder Cup appearance have suffered a blow after the Scot underwent an operation on a long-standing hand injury.
Gallacher will have his arm in a sling for 10 days and is facing at least a four-week lay-off from the European Tour, where he has made just one halfway cut in five events in 2016.
"This has been bothering me since last May," he said. "I've had cortisone injections, the latest one in December, but it's hindered me on the course."
The 41-year-old, who is 47th in the Ryder Cup qualifying standings, hopes to return to action in the Spanish Open at Valderrama in April.

So, Watford beat Arsenal and West Ham and Man United finished all square but what about the other quarter-finals we here you cry.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, overcame a spirited Reading on Friday to join the party at Wembley.
The draw for the semis - which, with West Ham and United drawing, involves five teams - takes place at 19:20 GMT tonight, during BBC One's The One Show.

And today's debate might cause a bit of controversy but we're going to ask it anyway.

We're hoping this one touches a few raw nerves and gets you going. Let us know your opinions, whatever they are, right now at #bbcsportsday or at the BBC Sport Facebook page., external
