Tim Stubbs: Some great games involving less big clubs but you need the bigger clubs too. You expect them! Liv v Pal '90 semi comes to mind

Major Underpants: Rarely see giant killing at this stage of the cup. Man U did well to get this far though so praise for that.

Chris Adams: Better without the so-called "big teams". Most football fans are starved of success and so it just means so much more to them.

We want to know if you think the FA Cup is better or worse without teams like Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea in the latter stages.

Southampton have appealed against the red card shown to Sadio Mane during Saturday's 2-1 Premier League victory at Stoke.

Referee Lee Mason gave the forward a straight red card during the first minute of second-half stoppage time when he caught Stoke's Erik Pieters in mid-air having mistimed a jump to challenge for the ball.

The decision appeared harsh to the majority of onlookers, particularly given Mane kept his eyes on the ball, and manager Ronald Koeman indicated the club's intention to appeal after the game.

A final one for the Manchester City boss, and it concerns the fact he won't be around next year.

But despite the fact Pep Guardiola will soon be the man in charge, Pellegrini says it won't make him any less motivated for the remainder of this campaign.

"For me, leaving at the end of the season or not, it’s the same responsibility - I don’t think one thing is linked to another," he says.

And then he is off. All done and dusted here. Over and out.

Which would Manuel prefer to win - Premier League or Champions League?

"One competition is not more important than another. We want to improve in all departments - development in all senses," says Pellegrini.

"We’re not going to play with the score we got in Kiev (3-1), we’re just going to say it’s 0-0 and try to win the game tomorrow."

Now it's on to league matters.

City, of course, dropped more points at the weekend when they were held to a goalless draw at Norwich, which leaves the Blues nine points behind leaders Leicester.

"We have another 27 points to play for in the Premier League. You never know what can happen in football," Manuel Pellegrini counters.

"But our target is just to think about this game, then the derby (on Sunday). We must finish as near to the top of the table as possible."

Manuel Pellegrini on his side's Champions League chances: “We’ve improved. Before I arrived here, the club didn’t qualify for the last 16 but we’ve done it twice in the first two years.

“The most important thing is to know we have not yet qualified. We play against a team who know how to play this type of game."

Finally, poor old Manuel Pellegrini has been asked a question.

It's about who is fit enough to feature tomorrow.

"Yaya Toure is fit to play tomorrow. He has no problems," says the boss.

"Nasri, Delph and De Bruyne, I expect they can play during the internationals."

"We focus on one game at a time. We have to concentrate on the Champions League, then we look at another big game on Sunday."

Joe's not kidding. City host Manchester rivals United at the Etihad.

Joe Hart has joined Manuel Pellegrini to face the media and it's the keeper who is asked the first question.

How important is it to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League?

“It’s important for us - qualifying is a target we’ve had for a number of years now and we’ve got ourselves in a good position," says Hart.

"The Premier League is definitely still up for grabs is but for now we’re putting that to one side and concentrating on another competition."

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has escaped any retrospective action for an alleged elbow on Liverpool's Emre Can during the Reds first-leg Europa League clash with Liverpool, Uefa has announced.

Earlier, United learned they would not be punished after their supporters chanted about the Hillsborough stadium disaster during the 2-0 defeat at Anfield last Thursday.

It won't just be fans of Liverpool and Manchester United who will have a keen interest in Thursday's Europa League return between the sides at Old Trafford.

For if United get through it will give the FA a real headache in arranging the Old Trafford club's FA Cup sixth round replay with West Ham.

There is a problem already as the first two free midweek dates are ruled out due to the international break. The next two are reserved for Uefa competition.

There is a financial penalty if domestic matches are arranged during this time but with the week before the semi-finals on 23 and 24 April too close logistically, some kind of European clash looks inevitable even without the major added complication of Louis van Gaal's side still being involved in the Europa League.

Geraint Thomas accepts he will be a marked man following his win in the prestigious week-long Paris-Nice stage race.

Team Sky's Thomas, 29, joins the late Tommy Simpson and Sir Bradley Wiggins as British winners of the race.

The Welshman, who also won the Volta ao Algarve stage race earlier in the year, knows he will no longer be given any leeway by other teams.

"That's part of being successful I guess and dealing with that," Thomas told BBC Radio Wales.

Match of the Day host Gary Lineker has written a cracking piece in today's Guardian about his beloved Leicester City and their chances of winning the Premier league title.

It starts like this: "Something extraordinary is happening in the world of football. Something that defies logic. Something truly magical. Something that makes me well up with emotion because this something is happening to my team. The team I have supported since I was the size of a multipack of crisps."

We asked you who you thought would win the FA Cup.

It was neck and neck but West Ham won the vote with 38% ahead of Everton (36%).

The fact Manchester United were third with 14% tells its own story. Watford (7%) and Crystal Palace (4%) didn't have much love.
