Monaco v Manchester City (19:45 GMT, City lead 5-3 after first leg)

Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim also anticipates another end-to-end encounter but believes Manchester City will score at least once in their Champions League last-16 second leg tonight.

"I think the two teams will attack and we can expect a lot of goals. "We know we have to score at least two more but I think the individual quality of the City players is so dangerous they can score at any moment.

"So, to qualify I think we will need to score at least three goals."

Monaco v Manchester City (19:45 GMT, City lead 5-3 after the first leg)

There were eight goals in the Champions League last-16 first leg tie as Manchester City beat Monaco 5-3 and City boss Pep Guardiola has no plans to sit on his side's two-goal lead.

Monaco have scored 123 goals in all competitions this season and Guardiola said: "Taking the ball and attacking as much as possible is the only way I know to beat this type of team.

"If you are thinking about only defending for 90 minutes because we won one game 5-3, you kill yourself.

"Monaco are a team created to attack and our team is created to attack, or at least to score goals, so in that way it will be a great game."

This race, with its mixture of obstacles, is a test of skill for horse and rider alike and the Irish have made it their own in recent times.

Enda Bolger is a master with five wins, including last year with Josie’s Orders, ridden by Nina Carberry, who misses out this year as she is pregnant.

Bolger this year trains four, led by market leader Cantlow, but Auvergnat is not without a chance, but Cause of Causes, who has a second and two wins at the Festival, is a big challenger. All three horses are owned by JP McManus.

Willie Mullins, Douvan's trainer, has told BBC Radio 5 live he thinks the pre-race favourite may have pulled something during the Queen Mother Champion Chase.

"We are all a bit gobsmacked I think, he didn't jump as well as we had hoped with his usual fluency," said Mullins. "Usually you find something wrong when that happens.

"He probably pulled something, a muscle, a ligament, hopefully something that will come right straight away.

"Over the first two fences, I thought he would have to be a super horse to win this, you don't get away with that in the Champion Chase.

"I'm hoping he could be one of the best horses I have ever trained. Today was clearly was not his day. That's the way it is.

"We are all disappointed that this happened, now my main job is to find out what is wrong and how long it will take to fix."

Celebrations for the bookmakerspublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 15 March 2017

    Horse racing

One bookmaker has the biggest smile in Cheltenham after a punter had put £500,000 on Douvan to win at odds of 1-5, a bet that would have seen the punter win an extra £100,000.

Bookie Kyle Drummond tells BBC Radio 5 live: "It's good you got me now as we were just going start to do a conga around the betting ring.

"We never thought we would get Douvan turned over. We are going out for a steak later. After the first two fences I never fancied that Douvan was travelling well.

"After Altior yesterday, we were owed one."

Katie Walsh on BBC Radio 5 live: "Douvan struggled to get into a rhythm and it was not happening for Ruby. There is no such thing as a certainty but that is jump racing and that is life.

"We didn't get a true sense of Douvan today. They are not machines and he was having an off day. Today he was not firing on all cyclinders.

"The horse is back 100%, Ruby is 100% so there will be other days."
