DJ: Leicester should put £80m price tag on Ben Chilwell to ward off Man City

Kyle: As a Newcastle supporter feeling the worse tonight. Think City will win 3-0 but a few beers will ease the pain. Good to read from Keith Downie that Newcastle are close to signing a couple players even if it's just a couple of loan deals.

Get Involved - will you miss Fellaini, United fans?published at 17:43 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2019

Fellaini was a good sub with Jose and scored some vital goals but since Ole has come in the team seems to be playing better and I don't think he would get game time. Good bit of business to trim the squad.

    Charlie in Bicester

Fellaini did a job at times, but ultimately will always be seen as a symbol of the directionless post-Ferguson years

    Stefan

Fellaini has scored some important goals for us but just does not fit the united mould. Perfect for a Mourinho team but could you ever have seen Sir Alex signing him?

Tumi David: Fellaini leaving United somehow feels like a trophy and a successful season to me, it can only precede better things to come! I hope more dead weights leave too

Matt Wilkinson: Keeping tabs on BBC sport while visiting family in South Africa. Hopefully a win for Newcastle tonight! Would round off great day at beach and 30 degree heat. Then watch Liverpool having a braai (bbq) tomorrow.

The match live text will be up and running for you in an hour or so Matt, so be sure to tune in for that, too. I'll point you in the right direction, don't worry.

Maraoune Fellaini has made only two substitute appearances under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.

But Solksjaer recently praised the midfielder's "X factor".

"He'll probably be at least three or four weeks (out)," the United boss said of Fellaini on January 18.

"He's got a calf problem and that's sad because there's X factors in different players and we all know Felli's X Factor.

"Then again, he'll be working hard to get back in when all the big games are coming as well."

But now it appears the Belgian is on his way out of Old Trafford to board a plane to China.

Edward Edmond: Poch is building a project at spurs that requires a different way of operating. He is right that cups don't necessarily equal long term success. How many FA cups have Arsenal won in the last few years, yet are miles off competing for the league?

Momo: Top 4 is an achievement if a team can make semi finals and final in Champions League on a consistent basis. With Wenger the problem was being out in round of 16 every year.
