  1. Field goal 49erspublished at 00:13 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2020

San Francisco 49ers 10-0 Green Bay Packers

Robbie Gould boots a huge 54-yarder and although it's still early that 10-point lead already looks a big one against this San Francisco defence.

  2. End of first quarterpublished at 00:12 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2020

San Francisco 49ers 7-0 Green Bay Packers

Much-needed stop for the Packers there as they sack Jimmy Garoppolo on third down as the first quarter finishes already - that went quick! Will they kick the field goal or take a chance?

  3. ouch!

Aaron Rodgers sacked! It's a seriously good couple of plays for Nick Bosa who stuffs Aaron Jones before getting his hands on Rodgers as well. Some rookie!

    Breaking

San Francisco 49ers 7-0 Green Bay Packers

Impressive drive from San Francisco this time after some trademark fancy play calling from Kyle Shanahan. The Niners have options at running back, and Raheem Mostert may be the quickest as he flies through the Packers defence and sprints away for a 36-yard score.

San Francisco 49ers 0-0 Green Bay Packers

It's the Packers' turn to this time just come up short when searching for the first down, although Aaron Rodgers had Jimmy Graham available for what would've been an easy conversion.

  6. We're under way!published at 23:45 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2020

San Francisco 49ers 0-0 Green Bay Packers

The 49ers have the ball first, and start with a triple dose of Tevin Coleman who had such a big game last week, but he's stuffed when going for a first down and it's a quick punt for the hosts.

  7. How we got here - Packerspublished at 23:41 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2020

Green Bay fell into the number two seed after a late stumble by New Orleans as they went on a long winning run following a 38-7 humbling in San Francisco, so it's quite apt that they return here for the NFC Championship.

They out muscled the Seattle Seahawks last week and although Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback they're a strong running team with the 'other' Aaron, Jones. It was the pass rushers of Preston and Za’Darius Smith though that did all the damage.

It's definitely unfinished business as the Packers return looking for revenge.

  8. How we got here - 49erspublished at 23:41 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2020

San Francisco finished 13-3 for the season and a dominant win over the Minnesota Vikings saw them become the fifth team since 1990 to make the Championship game a year after earning just four wins.

They're probably the best all-round team left as they've got talent on both sides of the ball, but they're best known for their stifling defence and especially their secondary as the best pass defence in the league.

Kyle Shanahan's dad Mike coached the Denver Broncos in a Super Bowl and if the Niners advance they'd be the first father-and-son duo to be head coaches in the big game in NFL history.

The Titans led 10-0 and then 17-7 but a run of 28 points without reply from the Chiefs turned the match on its head.

Both sides scored one more touchdown each, but it's the Chiefs that advance to Miami and it's the Chiefs that are the AFC champions.

Patrick Mahomes ran in one touchdown and threw for another three. Tyreek Hill also got two touchdowns, with one for Damien Williams and one for Sammy Watkins.

The Chiefs will be playing in the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years.
