Ben Dunbar: This Kansas City team would be amazing if they could defend in the first quarter.

Andrew Priestley: Andy Reid has a poor 1-5 record in Conference Championship games. Tonight could be last chance saloon for his top-level coaching career. A great coach, but so many questions will be asked of his ability to win the big games if that record falls to 1-6.

Nick Hughes: Titans going heavy on the run game brings two bonuses - keeps the ball away from the Chiefs offense & Mahomes and brings play-action into play later on when the box is loaded. Smart, tough, organised team.

Good game this one. Very enjoyable. The Titans with a three-point lead.

    Breaking

Kansas City Chiefs 7-10 Tennessee Titans

Ten behind after 10 minutes, now the gap is only three points.

The Chiefs have had to be patient with a 10-play 69-yard drive, but they get the desired result. Mahomes with a short pass to Tyreek Hill and he turns the afterburners on to sprint past the Titans players and make it into the end zone for an eight-yard touchdown.

    Harrison Butker adds the extra.

    Game on.

A great diving catch from Travis Kelce but it counts for nothing as he was already out of bounds. Still, an incredible catch though. Chiefs first and goal though.

  5. Stat attackpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2020

When the Titans beat the Chiefs 35-32 in Week 10, it was Kansas City who went 10-0 up, but they're unlikely to panic here - Patrick Mahomes is 3-0 this season when going behind by 10-plus points.

Karl: If the #Chiefs, external don't score next, it's game over. You can't complete back to back comeback wins.

This one's still got a lot left in it Karl, we're only in the first quarter!

And it's the right decision from the Chiefs. Mahomes to Travis Kelce and he just about gets the first down.

We saw the Titans gamble on 4th & 2 and they scored a touchdown not long after, now it's the Chiefs who face a 4th & 2 and they are also trying their luck.

Not the start the Chiefs were expecting, but Mahomes is getting going. He finds a diving Tyreek Hill, who does well to hang on to it for a 26-yard pass.

Radio 5 Live 606 host Sam Quek is having a busy day on the couch watching sport. The staunch Liverpool fan has a quick jersey change to cheer on her beloved Kansas City Chiefs, but will it be a double celebration?

  11. Touchdown Titans - Henrypublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2020
    Breaking

Kansas City Chiefs 0-10 Tennessee Titans

That fourth down gamble for the Titans, when they're 4th & 2 turns out to be a good decision. Derrick Henry gets the ball and there is space in the Kansas defence so he can go the long way round and sprint home for a four-yard touchdown.

What a start for the Titans. Nearly 10 minutes gone and they lead by 10 after Greg Joseph added the extra point.

Fourth down, but the Titans are going for it and it pays off as Tannehill's short pass to Adam Humphries is just about good enough.

Andrew Priestley: The Titans need to get on top of the Chiefs early & keep the game close throughout. That will allow Henry to punish their defense, and wear it down. Defensively, the Titans have to continue their postseason red-zone success, a defense that has only allowed 2 red-zone TDs.

Jimboq29: If the Titans do win this it won't be a shock. They've won in New England and Baltimore, they just need to do more of the same and they'll be Miami bound.

Remember, we're also asking who's the best quarterback in the NFL and why and also who's going to win the Super Bowl and why?

  14. Postpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2020

The Chiefs' Bashaud Breeland thinks he has provided a sensational interception after Titans quarterback Tannehill had time to arrow it towards to Corey Davis, with Breeland diving in front of Davis.

But, as Breeland was diving forwards, the ball bobbled out of his arms and hit the ground so no interception, much to the Titans' relief.

The first time we're seeing Patrick Mahomes on the field today and he is jumped on by linebacker Kamalei Correa for the first sack of the day. Kansas' first possession and they don't do anything with it and have to punt.

A solid start for the visitors.

A eight-play drive ends with the Titans getting the first points on the board. Ryan Tannehill twice aimed for the end zone but couldn't find a team-mate and that meant they had to go for the field goal.

They had not attempted a field goal since week 15, 49 days ago, but no signs of rustiness from Greg Joseph, whose 30-yard kick is right through the middle of the posts and the Titans are up and running.

Defensive tackle Chris Jones will play for the Chiefs tonight - and that's a huge bonus as he's an excellent defender against the run and vital to Kansas City if they're to slow down Derrick Henry.

Andrew Priestley: Derrick Henry is the dangerman and will continue to be the key man for the Titans tonight, but the game will be won and lost on how well a 24th-ranked Titans pass defense can hold up vs Mahomes and his frightening array of offensive weapons.
