  1. touchdown

Falcons Touchdownpublished at 23:19 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Atlanta Falcons 17-28 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

You've got to give Matt Ryan and the Falcons credit to sticking in this game - Ryan stuck in the pocket just now even with Devon White flying in at him!

Ryan responds by later hitting Calvin Ridley with a three-yard touchdown and they're still just about in touch.

At some point though they do actually need to stop Brady throwing touchdowns.

  2. touchdown

Touchdown Bucspublished at 23:14 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Atlanta Falcons 10-28 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    Different half, same old Bucs.

They also claim an interception from just the second play after the break, and fours plays later Tom Brady finds Mike Evans for a one-yard touchdown. Evans and Rob Gronkowski both have two for the day now, while Brady has four TD passes - and already eight for the season.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown Vikingspublished at 23:09 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 30-24 Arizona Cardinals

Great start to the second half by the Vikings. From just the second play after the break, Nick Vigil picks off a Kyler Murray pass and runs it back 38 yards for a pick six.

Despite all that magic by Murray, the Cardinals now trail.

  4. touchdown

Seahawks Touchdownpublished at 23:03 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

HT: Tennessee Titans 9-24 Seattle Seahawks

Blimey, the Seahawks aren't hanging about.

They get the ball back with 65 seconds to half-time, and an Alex Collins run and a Titans penalty help them march right back up the field for Chris Carson to punch it in from a yard.

Seattle lead by 15 at the half.

  5. field goal

Titans field goalpublished at 22:58 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Tennessee Titans 9-17 Seattle Seahawks

Julio Jones makes a grab at the back of the end zone to claim his first touchdown as a Tennessee Titan.

Oh, no he hasn't... replays show that he gets one foot down inbounds but his other heel comes down fractionally on the chalk.

The Titans have to settle for a 24-yard field goal by that man Randy Bullock.

  7. field goal

Field goalspublished at 22:45 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 23-24 Arizona Cardinals

Greg Joseph boots Minnesota back in front, but that's just from a regulation 52 yards that mere mortals may think is impressive.

But Matt Prater isn't a mere mortal, he's the record holder for the longest field goal at 64 yards, so this from 62 is just a chip shot to him.

Of course it's not a chip shot, it's a massive hit, but he's got a massive leg, maybe two massive legs. But his right is definitely massive as that's the one that sends the ball home.

He could've made it from a few yards further out.

  8. Great play!published at 22:39 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 20-21 Arizona Cardinals

With plays like this, could Kyler Murray be an MVP candidate this season?

    Give us the thumbs...

  9. touchdown

Seahawks Touchdownpublished at 22:38 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Tennessee Titans 6-17 Seattle Seahawks

We said it'd be trouble...And Seattle don't let us down as they run Chris Carson right up the gut and he gets over from a couple of yards.

Work to do for the well-fancied Titans to avoid going 0-2.

  10. touchdown

Cardinals Touchdownpublished at 22:37 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 20-21 Arizona Cardinals

Stop that Kyler Murray! He's playing a different game sometimes, like here where he wheels away from the pressure out to the left sideline, with too much gas for the chasing pass rushers.

Here's the difference though... he can then produce a throw across his body on the run, for a huge 77-yard bomb for Rondale Moore.

    Incredible.

  11. Sack - turnoverpublished at 22:34 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Tennessee Titans 6-10 Seattle Seahawks

Ryan Tannehill is dropped back on his own nine-yard line and the ball pops up to be recovered by Seattle.

    Big trouble for the Titans.

  12. touchdown

Buccaneers Touchdownpublished at 22:33 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Atlanta Falcons 7-21 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Three touchdown passes in the half for Tom Brady now as he finds Mike Evans in the end zone. Giving Brady this many weapons just doesn't seem fair to me.

  13. touchdown

Chargers Touchdownpublished at 22:30 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Dallas Cowboys 14-11 Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert answers back but Mike Williams has to take all the credit for this, catching a flat throw, spinning away from the tackle then getting on his toes down the sideline.

All capped off with the Superman dive over the pylon. Classic.

  14. touchdown

Seahawks Touchdownpublished at 22:27 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Tennessee Titans 6-10 Seattle Seahawks

That man Tyler Lockett, who we spoke about before, does it again with a 63-yard score that has all sorts of questions to answer.

Firstly, how is Lockett open, but most importantly why couldn't two defenders tackle him? It's a nice run but surely, surely they should stop that?

  16. touchdown

Cardinals Touchdownpublished at 22:22 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 20-14 Arizona Cardinals

After getting away with that would-be turnover, the Cardinals take advantage with a trademark Kyler Murray rushing touchdown from 12 yards out.

He's small but so nifty and quick off the mark, and sometimes he's hidden from view by the enormous linemen so, by the time he's out in the open, the secondary have no chances of stopping him.

    Good game this one!

  17. field goal

Titans field goalpublished at 22:17 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Tennessee Titans 6-3 Seattle Seahawks

Tennessee sneak ahead in Seattle, they would've wanted a touchdown but Ryan Tannehill was sacked on a crucial third down in the red zone and that forces them to take the kick.

Randy Bullock (yes, really) fires over his second kick of the game.

  19. What. A. Turnover (Almost)published at 22:11 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Minnesota Vikings 20-7 Arizona Cardinals

Incredible scenes in Arizona. Rondale Moore tries to run it in at the corner for the Cardinals but is hit and the ball somehow pops out and into the arms of Minnesota's Nick Vigil.

But did he collect it in bounds?

NO! Is the answer and the Cards get the ball back...
