  1. Winston on the runpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-0 New Orleans Saints

This is NOT just another game for former Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston, who is off and running again, firstly to convert a third down and then on a 13-yard run to take him to 37 yards rushing already.

He's breathing a bit heavier after that as he leads New Orleans down the field against his old team - he wants to win this one. Badly!

  2. touchdown

Touchdown - Chargerspublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

New England Patriots 7-14 Los Angeles Chargers

Keenan Allen puts the Chargers back in front with a five-yard TD pass from Justin Herbert, but the assist goes to Justin Jackson, who ripped off a beauty of a run for 75 yards to set it up.

Jackson got a nice block from Allen and made two great cuts to break free, but just didn't have the gas to take it all the way to the house.

  3. Titans earn big divisional winpublished at 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

FT: Tennessee Titans 34-31 Indianapolis Colts

That win is huge for the Titans and may just eliminate the Colts from play-off contention. They found themselves down 14-0 after two scores in 57 seconds from the Colts.

Like an old steam train, the Titans offence takes a while to warm up, but when they do they are a scary force. AJ Brown was huge for the Titans offence, racking up 10 receptions for 155 yards and a touchdown.

However, this one will really sting for Colts coach Frank Reich and even more so for Carson Wentz. The former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback had started so well but he finished the game with the mistakes that have haunted his career in recent years.

  4. touchdown

Touchdown - Buccaneerspublished at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-0 New Orleans Saints

Just after Tom Brady just about failed to connect with Rob Gronkowski on his return to injury, the Bucs score on third down as Brady hits Chris Godwin, who heads into traffic and is actually belted over the line and into the end zone by an attempted tackle from the Saints.

The Bucs don't care, as they go 7-0 up.

  7. Sack - Jones goes downpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

New England Patriots 7-7 Los Angeles Chargers

Mac Jones is sacked just inside his own half and the Pats will have to punt it away.

  8. field goal

Field goal - Titanspublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

FT: Tennessee Titans 31-31 Indianapolis Colts

    Randy Bullock wins it!

It has been a wild game at Lucas Oil Stadium but the kicker is the coolest man in the stadium.

An unnecessary block in the back from AJ Brown had originally knocked the Titans out of field goal range. But he comes back with a big reception to make up for that.

Then it is over to the kicker and he nails the 44-yard field goal attempt to move the Titans to 6-2 and into first place in the AFC with the Raiders on a bye week.

  9. Great play!published at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-0 New Orleans Saints

Jameis Winston is looking for a big game against his former employers, and he shows just how keen he is with a rare big run for him, as the Saints QB runs it 20 yards to move the chains.

  10. Turnover - Byard comes up huge for Titanspublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

OT: Tennessee Titans 31-31 Indianapolis Colts

For the second time today Carson Wentz makes a terrible throw in a huge spot.

On first down he tries to force the ball into a tight window for Michael Pittman but there are three Tennessee defenders in the area.

Kevin Byard, who gave up that pass interference penalty at the end of regulation, makes up for that mistake with this big play that puts the Titans in field-goal range.

  11. touchdown

Touchdown - Seahawkspublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-7 Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith takes the high road for Seattle on the goal-line, as he just jumps up and stretches the ball out over the line to score the first TD of this game.

It looks a simple game when you see things like that from the Seahawks back-up - just jump and stick out an arm for six!

  12. Titans unable to capitalisepublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

OT: Tennessee Titans 31-31 Indianapolis Colts

It is not much better from the Titans, who are unable to move the ball effectively.

Ryan Tannehill hits AJ Brown on third down but he is two yards short and the Titans will punt it away.

We are into sudden death overtime.

  15. Three-and-out for the Coltspublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

OT: Tennessee Titans 31-31 Indianapolis Colts

The Colts get the first possession in overtime and it is not what they would have wanted.

A strong four-yard rush is followed up by a risky pass from Wentz, who still has not learned to not flip the ball out of his hands while he is going down. On third down he looks for Ashton Dulin deep over the middle and it is incomplete.

Over to the Titans, with a chance to win it with a field goal.

  16. touchdown

Touchdown - Patriotspublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

New England Patriots 7-7 Los Angeles Chargers

It's an instant response from New England and in just the manner you'd expect against a Chargers team that just cannot stop the run.

Mac Jones gets them close before they go with the jumbo run package and Damien Harris dives over for the touchdown. We're all square in LA.

  17. Early games - full-time scorespublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

    • Los Angeles Rams 38-22 Houston Texans
    • Miami Dolphins 11-26 Buffalo Bills
    • Carolina Panthers 19-13 Atlanta Falcons
    • San Francisco 49ers 33-22 Chicago Bears
    • Pittsburgh Steelers 15-10 Cleveland Browns
    • Philadelphia Eagles 44-6 Detroit Lions
  18. Jets win!published at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

FT: Cincinnati Bengals 31-34 New York Jets

Wow! What a turnaround in this game - although we should have known something fishy was going on when the Jets scored in the first quarter for the first time this season. And a touchdown on their first drive no less!

The Bengals took control but then two late Jets touchdowns, either side of a Joe Burrow interception, saw the home side claim a truly remarkable victory - and a proper Halloween fright night for Cincinnati.

Will that be enough for quarterback Mike White to start again next week? The Jets brought Joe Flacco back from the Philadelphia Eagles last week as extra cover for injured rookie Zach Wilson.

  19. Rams cruise to win over Texanspublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2021

FT: Los Angeles Rams 38-14 Houston Texans

The Los Angeles Rams used 24 first-half points to take command of their game with the Texans. They move into a share of first place in the NFC with a 7-1 record. Cooper Kupp continued his great season with seven receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown.

The Texans scored three late touchdowns to add some credibility to the result but that was against the Rams' back-ups.
