  1. touchdown

Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 18:52 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Las Vegas Raiders 0-21 Kansas City Chiefs

Three minutes gone in the second quarter but can we call this game already? The Chiefs are walking away with this after Patrick Mahomes leads another 80-yard drive with it just too easy to move the ball using his plethora of receiving options.

It's running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire who finishes it off though with a five-yard rushing score as this one starts to get ugly.

  2. touchdown

Touchdown - Seahawkspublished at 18:52 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Seattle Seahawks 10-7 Houston Texans

Seattle have to start from their own three-yard line but Russell Wilson makes two big plays to Tyler Lockett and Will Dissly to march them down the field.

Rashaad Penny then bursts through the line and stiff arms a defender before rumbling down the right sideline for a 32-yard touchdown which puts the Seahawks in front.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown - Cowboyspublished at 18:50 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Dallas Cowboys 18-0 Washington Football Team

Rookie Dallas defender Micah Parsons is just causing havoc again, what a defensive giant this guy is as he sacks Taylor Heinicke and forces a fumble, which Dorance Armstrong scoops up to score a touchdown for the Dallas defence.

It's Armstrong that gets the score in the books, but that was all about Parsons, who looks like an absolute monster in the making.

  4. ouch!

Jackson limps outpublished at 18:46 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 0-10 Cleveland Browns

This could be huge for Baltimore, as Lamar jackson limps out of the action after being tackled and looking like his knee or ankle could have been twisted. Tyler Huntley has come in at QB for the Ravens.

  5. touchdown

Touchdown - Brownspublished at 18:44 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 0-10 Cleveland Browns

Cleveland said they'd be a better team today than the last game against Baltimore two weeks ago, and so they should after all that planning time!

Baker Mayfield didn't do much in the last game but he's already got a touchdown pass in the books as he finds Jarvis Landry for a nine-yard score to take a handy 10-point lead.

  6. touchdown

Touchdown - Cowboyspublished at 18:42 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Dallas Cowboys 11-0 Washington Football Team

Dallas take charge as Amari Cooper catches the Dak Prescott touchdown pass - Cooper's getting back to full health after injury and that really changes this offence.

The Cowbyos go for two and get it through Ezekiel Elliott as their two big attacking weapons flex their muscles.

  7. touchdown

Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 18:37 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Las Vegas Raiders 0-14 Kansas City Chiefs

We did worry for Las Vegas today, and they're in a hole already after Darrel Williams collected a 23-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes.

After being torched in the first game you'd think the Raiders would play defence a bit softer and make mahomes dink and dunk it, but he's gone 80 yards in just five plays on this drive, including a big 44-yard completion to Mecole Hardman.

You just can't let Mahomes get those big plays rolling.

  8. touchdown

Touchdown - Falconspublished at 18:36 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Atlanta Falcons 7-7 Carolina Panthers

Atlanta hit straight back in Charlotte, with Matt Ryan handing it off for Cordarrelle Patterson to power over from five yards, practically untouched.

  9. touchdown

Touchdown - Pantherspublished at 18:30 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Atlanta Falcons 0-7 Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton was benched during Carolina's 33-10 loss at Miami before their bye week but he still started for the Panthers today and has just got the game's opening score.

The former MVP heads for the left corner and has to barge a defender out of the way before celebrating a 12-yard touchdown run.

  10. Turnovers!published at 18:29 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Dallas Cowboys 3-0 Washington Football Team

We've had interceptions on back-to-back drives in Washington as Dak Prescott was first picked off by the Football Team's Landon Collins, but just three players later Randy Gregory tipped a pass attempt from Taylor Heinicke and gathered it himself to get the ball right back for the Cowboys.

  11. field goal

Field goal - Seahawkspublished at 18:26 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Seattle Seahawks 3-7 Houston Texans

Seattle's opening drive stalls after 56 yards from nine plays so Jason Myers kicks a 38-yard field goal.

  12. field goal

Field goal - Brownspublished at 18:26 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 0-3 Cleveland Browns

There's a stiff breeze in Cleveland but Chase McLaughlin still manages to drill a 43-yarder between the sticks to move the browns in front.

It looks like yards and points will be very hard to come by here.

  13. field goal

Field goal - Saintspublished at 18:20 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

New Orleans Saints 3-0 New York Jets

Saints star Alvin Kamara is back after missing four games with a knee injury and on their first possession, the dual-threat running back breaks the record for most catches by a running back in their first five seasons before New Orleans settle for a 23-yard field goal from Brett Maher.

  14. touchdown

Touchdown - Texanspublished at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Seattle Seahawks 0-7 Houston Texans

First drive of the game in Houston and the hosts strike first with no-one tracking Brevin Jordan's run to the back of the end zone and he even has a little wave to Davis Mills before the Texans quarterback picks him out for a five-yard touchdown.

  15. touchdown

Touchdown - Titanspublished at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-7 Tennessee Titans

This could be the perfect game for the Titans to get back to winning ways after losing two games before the bye - D'Onta Foreman runs in their first TD from five yards out and that could be a theme today.

Derrick Henry usually runs all over the Jags but today the Titans will try and repeat that dose but with their back-up running backs.

  16. field goal

Field goal - Cowboyspublished at 18:15 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Dallas Cowboys 3-0 Washington Football Team

Greg Zuerlein converts from 35 yards as the Cowboys make progress but can't punch in a touchdown against this Washington defence. Kicking could be crucial today as this is expected to be a tough, close one.

  17. Defence came to playpublished at 18:10 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 0-0 Cleveland Browns

Both teams forced to punt on their opening drives with the defences on top early on - not overly surprising given how games between the two usually go.

You'd think the Browns would have a plan to be more effective though having had two weeks to plan for the rematch.

  18. touchdown

Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 18:07 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Las Vegas Raiders 0-7 Kansas City Chiefs

After all that praise we gave the Chiefs defence pre-game, they show just why on the very first play of the game, forcing Josh Jacobs into a fumble allowing Mike Hughes to claim the scoop and score!

It's a 22-yard fumble recovery to the house as Kansas City continue this remarkable defensive turnaround.

  19. Raiders facing red-hot Chiefspublished at 18:01 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Las Vegas Raiders v Kansas City Chiefs (18:000

After looking dead and buried a month ago, five straight wins have catapulted the Chiefs to 8-4 and right in the mix for the top AFC seed.

Nothing too surprising there, apart from how they've been doing it - with defence!

KC's defence was historically bad at the start of the season, but lately they've been incredible - only allowing 11.2 points per game over the last five.

Patrick Mahomes has only really caught fire in one of those five, but it was a five-touchdown performance against the Raiders in Las Vegas - and that spells trouble for the visitors tonight.

  20. Browns braced for Ravens repeatpublished at 17:55 Greenwich Mean Time 12 December 2021

Baltimore Ravens v Cleveland Browns (18:00)

It’s a huge quirk of the schedule that hardly ever happens, but the Browns are facing the Ravens for the second time in a row – having lost in Baltimore two weeks ago then having a bye week to prepare for the return in Cleveland tonight.

The Ravens, meanwhile, spent last week losing a heartbreaker at the Pittsburgh Steelers so they’re definitely at a bit of a disadvantage here.

Plus this is a massive game in the AFC North with Baltimore now hanging on to top spot but facing a brutal finishing schedule.
