Entertaining start here from both Allen and Mahomes, and Buffalo are marching again as we end the quarter.

  2. touchdown

Touchdown - Chiefspublished at 00:03 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2022

Buffalo Bills 7-7 Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes has shown he's like Superman at times, and he produces a Superman dive to take the ball in himself on a rushing touchdown.

He had all kinds of time in the pocket but the Bills did a great job of covering up all the Chiefs receivers but that will inevitably leave a gap and Mahomes raced into it down the left sideline before diving full-length for the pylon.

  3. Mahomes on the run!published at 23:59 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Buffalo Bills 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes shows he's no slouch on the run either as he takes off when he spots a hole in the Bills defence and turns on the afterburners to change from a scamper into an outright sprint to motor the ball 34 yards down the field.

  4. Great play!published at 23:56 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Buffalo Bills 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes doing Patrick Mahomes things back there as he somehow evades all the pass rushers and flips the ball on the run to Jerick McKinnon to get the first down and extend the drive.

  5. touchdown

Touchdown - Billspublished at 23:51 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Buffalo Bills 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs

Incredible start by the Bills - again Sean McDermott isn't interested in kicking a field goal so goes for it on fourth-and-goal and it's Devin Singletary who takes the pitch from Allen and runs it in to the left edge of the end zone.

For the record, that's eight proper possessions for Buffalo in this year's play-offs and eight touchdowns scored. Can't argue with that.

  6. Bills running it hardpublished at 23:48 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Kansas City Chiefs

Buffalo look nailed-on to score on the opening drive here as they get the ball all the way down to the three-yard line.

Watch out for a Josh Allen run from this range.

  7. Allen converts fourth downpublished at 23:45 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Kansas City Chiefs

Bills coach Sean McDermott hates to punt, so he runs a play on fourth-and-two, but when you've got Josh Allen why wouldn't you?

He's huge, and quick, and powers away for a 10-yard gain.

  8. We're off!published at 23:42 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Goodness, not sure my pules has returned to normal just yet but we're off in the fourth and final game of the weekend!

Bills have the ball - Devin Singletary runs for a first down early doors.

Buffalo Bills v Kansas City Chiefs

    • Buffalo and Kansas City meet in a rematch of the 2020 AFC Championship, won by the Chiefs, 38-24. Each franchise has four Super Bowl appearances.
    • Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen both threw five touchdowns last week, making this the first ever play-off year with multiple players throwing five or more touchdowns in a game.
    • In last week’s win, the Bills scored touchdowns on each of their first seven possessions, becoming the first team to accomplish that feat in any NFL game since the Patriots did it in Week 11 of the 2007 season.
    • The Chiefs have won six of their past seven play-off games, only losing in last year's Super Bowl.
    • Since Josh Allen entered the league as Buffalo’s first-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, he ranks third with 10 play-off touchdown passes, behind only Mahomes (22) and Tom Brady (14).
    • Travis Kelce last week became the first player in NFL history with a touchdown pass, touchdown reception and at least 100 receiving yards in a post season game.
  12. And next up... Allen v Mahomespublished at 23:37 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Buffalo Bills v Kansas City Chiefs

Not had enough NFL play-off drama? Well next up we've got the small matter of the Bills v the Chiefs at Arrowhead.

Bills QB Josh Allen produced an out of this world performances as they battered the Patriots last week.

Buffalo scored seven touchdowns on seven drives, didn't have to punt or kick a field goal, and only didn't score when kneeling down to win the game.

  14. Road rules in this roundpublished at 23:34 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 30-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

We've had three Divisional Round games, and three wins by the away side, and ALL of them coming with the last kick of the game.

You certainly get value for money in the NFL play-offs!

  15. Sum that up...published at 23:33 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 30-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

How do we sum up that game in Tampa Bay? Tom Brady led an incredible fightback with the Bucs scoring 24 unanswered points to tie the game up with less than a minute on the clock.

But Matthew Stafford and the Rams went for the win, and thanks to a huge throw to Cooper Kupp they got it with a walk-off field goal winner.

And just like that, Brady is out of the play-offs, the Super Bowl defence is over and, if you believe some reports, maybe even his legendary career.

It's a huge statement win for Stafford though, and what an advert for play-off football in the NFL. It's the ultimate in sporting drama, you just can't beat it!

  16. Rams to host NFC title gamepublished at 23:27 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 30-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Congratulations to the LA Rams, who will now host their fierce rivals the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship next weekend for a place in Super Bowl 56.

It's the first time Los Angeles will host a Championship game since the 1983 season, and it of course will also host the Super Bowl.

  17. field goal

Field goal - Rams win!published at 23:25 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 30-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Matt Gay wins it for the Rams! It's just a 30-yarder but there's untold pressure on the kick, but he nails it easily enough and sends the Rams through to the NFC Championship game.

What have we just seen! That's one of the most incredible games of play-off football you'll witness in your life.

  18. Kupp could have won it!published at 23:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

How many more times can we say, wow! The Bucs let Cooper Kupp get in behind them and Stafford finds him with a bomb down the middle to the 12 yards line.

The Rams clock it with four seconds left and a short field goal attempt coming up to win the game!

    Amazing..

  19. Any more drama?published at 23:21 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Hey, we've still got 42 seconds left on the lock here, and the way this game has gone absolutely anything could happen here!

  20. touchdown

Touchdown - Bucspublished at 23:19 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-27 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Leonard Fournette, of course! He runs it in from nine yards when everyone expected the Tom Brady QB sneak.

What a run from play-off Lenny, with the Bucs just needing a few inches for the first down, but the Rams sold out to try and stop Brady up the middle and left too much room on the outside.

    This game is madness.
