  1. Fourth downpublished at 23:16 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Cameron Brate almost gets the first down on the eight yard line but he's ruled down fractions short of moving the chains.

The Bucs now need to guarantee a first down but they've got no timeouts and only 46 seconds left!

Or do they take one shot to the end zone?

  2. Into the red zonepublished at 23:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

First down, thanks to play-off Lenny Fornette, takes the Bucs to the 18-yard line.

Mike Evans then falls over near the sideline and misses a perfectly thrown ball - it almost cost the Bucs an interception with Jalen Ramsey on the scene.

  3. Fumble!!!published at 23:09 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Ohhh baby! The Rams have coughed up possession on their own 30-yard line, would you believe it?

Running back Cam Akers drops the ball in the tackle thanks to Ndamukong Suh's sizeable arm to give Tom Brady a great chance to tie this game up!

The Brighton Bard: I was lucky enough to be at Super Bowl 51 when Brady and the Patriots came back in overtime. This feels so similar. They can’t, can they?!!

Touchdown - Bucspublished at 23:05 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-20 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

He's got plenty left! Brady takes just three plays as he launches a 55-yard bomb to Mike Evans, who has LA's star cornerback Jalen Ramsey on him but wins the contest easily to take the catch and jog in for the score.

That drive took just 36 seconds off the clock to go 77 yards, magnificent! Now, can the defence get a stop?

  6. One last chance?published at 23:03 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Just a few ticks under four minutes on the clock, starting on his own 20, Tom Brady needs to score a touchdown here you'd imagine to stand a chance of completing the comeback.

    Let's see what he's got...

  7. Brady off targetpublished at 23:00 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs again have to go for it on fourth down, but this time Tom Brady can't move the chains as he misses his intended throw to tight end Cameron Brate.

Brady had Scotty Miller wide open just a bit deeper too, and for the first time all game he had plenty of time to fire his pass away. You'd expect him to make those throws.

  8. Field goal misspublished at 22:54 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Wow! We've heard about Rams kicker Matt Gay having a few problems before the game, but he looks like he's struck his attempt from 47 yards out well enough, but it drops short!

That's not a massive effort for an NFL kicker and Gay can't believe it when the refs wave it away - it's not exactly tough kicking conditions, like Green Bay last night!

A bit of a let-off for the Bucs.

  9. Rams on the runpublished at 22:49 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This is much better stuff from the Rams, running the ball hard with Cam Akers and then getting a big gain from Van Jefferson as they get to the 30, but more importantly keep bleeding that clock.

It's the type of control they were looking for when all hell broke loose a few minutes ago.

  10. Turnover on downspublished at 22:44 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Brady can't connect with Mike Evans and they turn the ball over on downs - phew, that was quite an eventful few minutes, it all rather escalated pretty quickly there!

Evans takes a savage hit at the end of that play and flags come flying in, but it won't stop the Rams getting the ball back.

  11. Crucial sackpublished at 22:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Huge third down sack forces a fourth and 14, but the Bucs have to go for it. It was Leonard Floyd who dropped Brady this time.

  12. What's happening!?published at 22:39 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Rams have handed the ball right back! Can you believe this? Matthew Stafford didn't even get his hands on the ball as it was snapped before he was set.

It's then a foot race as every takes off after the pigskin and it's Bucs defender Jason Pierre-Paul who dives on it around halfway.

    Huge, huge play! Whatever next?

  13. Brady loses the ball!published at 22:37 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

One play! That's how long the Brady comeback lasted as Von Miller came in and stripped sacked the GOAT before diving on the ball himself for the turnover.

The stadium was jumping but then stunned into silence with the instant turnover.

  14. Game on!published at 22:34 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Here we go, is it just me or does suddenly Matthew Stafford look a bit more jittery as the Rams quickly go three-and-out?

They've taken just seconds off the clock and have to give Brady the ball back. It's still a long shot but if the Bucs can somehow find another touchdown here then we'll have real game on our hands.

  16. End of the thirdpublished at 22:28 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Rams run just one play for no gain before the end of the quarter, and they still lead by two touchdowns with just 15 minutes left to play.

Touchdown - Bucspublished at 22:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Now the game gets interesting, as the Bucs turn the fumble into seven points thanks to play-off Lenny himself Leonard Fournette, who barges over from a yard out.

You don't stop the big man from close range like that.

  18. Bucs at the onepublished at 22:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Tyler Johnson does make a catch this time, and then shows some muscle to battle to the one-yard line and a fresh set of downs.

  19. Fourth down conversionpublished at 22:21 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs go for it on fourth down, they have no other choice now, and Scotty Miller comes up with the big play as he catches the laser from Brady at the 15-yard line.

  20. Kupp fumbles!published at 22:19 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2022

Los Angeles Rams 27-6 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Life, maybe, for Tampa Bay as Cooper Kupp of all people fumbles and Sean Murphy-Bunting scoops up the ball and runs it back to the Rams 30.

An unexpected chance for the Bucs.
