  1. Bills gain first downpublished at 23:44 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 10-21 Buffalo Bills

The Bills are soon on fourth down. They opt to go for it and Josh Allen leaps on to his offensive line.

I say on to rather than over as the big man was off his feet, marooned across a couple of his O-linemen, yet they still managed to keep trundling forward for a few inches - far enough to get the first down.

They need to keep the Steelers off the field for a while here. A score would be even better.

  2. Postpublished at 23:41 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 10-21 Buffalo Bills

Since Buffalo's field-goal attempt was blocked, the Steelers' offence has gained 81 yards compared to six for the Bills.

Josh Allen is set to get back out there. Can he get the Bills going again?

  3. Time for Allen to step up?published at 23:39 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 10-21 Buffalo Bills

"This is where your quarterback needs to show up, put a long drive together and reinvigorate the offence" - Ndamukong Suh, 2021 Super Bowl winner, on Sky Sports

  4. 'Attack the middle'published at 23:38 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 10-21 Buffalo Bills

"We know the Steelers needed some explosive plays and some chunk plays. You’ve got to do that through the run game. Now the Bills have some injuries at linebacker, so you attack the middle of the field" - Jason Bell, former NFL cornerback, on Sky Sports

  5. field goal

Field goal - Steelerspublished at 23:37 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 10-21 Buffalo Bills

The Steelers are stopped just outside the red zone as Mason Rudolph's deep ball towards George Pickens is too high.

They settle for a field goal, with Chris Boswell making no mistake from 40 yards.

  6. Postpublished at 23:33 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 7-21 Buffalo Bills

Terrel Bernard is carted off before Kaiir Elam almost claims his second interception of the night, from a throw towards George Pickens on the sideline.

Mason Rudolph finds Pickens on the next play, though, for a 13-yard gain.

  7. Steelers move the chainspublished at 23:27 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 7-21 Buffalo Bills

Mason Rudolph delivers a nice pass down the middle to Diontae Johnson to get into Buffalo territory.

There's now an injury time-out after Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard goes down on that play.

  8. Sack - Allen down againpublished at 23:25 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 7-21 Buffalo Bills

Just the start Pittsburgh would have wanted.

Linebacker Alex Highsmith sacks Josh Allen on second down and the Bills are forced to go three-and-out.

There has been some concerns over the state of Sam Martin's hamstring but he sends that punt for 45 yards.

  9. Kick-offpublished at 23:20 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 7-21 Buffalo Bills

The second half is under way in Buffalo, with the Bills the first in possession for the third quarter.

It was all one-way traffic until right at the end of the first half, when a blocked field goal got the Steelers going and they finished the half strongly with a touchdown and a sack of Josh Allen.

But before that the Bills had been dominant, with Allen producing an incredible 52-yard touchdown run to add to two TD throws to his tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox.

The second half will be interesting if Pittsburgh start it as they finished the first. They could have already been out of it, but they're just about in touch.

  11. Sack - Allen goes downpublished at 23:04 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 7-21 Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen gets taken down by Markus Golden just as he was winding up to let a pass go. Pittsburgh have their tails up just before half-time.

  12. ouch!

Ouch!published at 23:03 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 7-21 Buffalo Bills

Stefon Diggs takes a huge hit from Minkah Fitzpatrick and looks a bit shaken up as he stays down on the turf for a while, before thankfully being able to leave the field under his own steam.

Buffalo will hope it's nothing too serious.

  13. touchdown

At last! Something to smile about for the Steelers as Diontae Johnson collects a 10-yard touchdown pass from Mason Rudolph to get Pittsburgh on the board.

It's Johnson's sixth touchdown of the year and was badly needed by the visitors, who have been under pressure all half.

  14. Two-minute warningpublished at 22:56 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 0-21 Buffalo Bills

Right then, can Pittsburgh get back into this game somehow? They badly need to establish that run game that's been working so well at the end of the regular season.

They've managed a couple of gains and have made it into the red zone, but you feel they need a touchdown here, nothing less.

  15. 'That's what the Steelers needed'published at 22:54 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 0-21 Buffalo Bills

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo: "That is big, in a game like this. That's the opportunity that the Steelers needed to get back in this."

  16. field goal

Field goal - Blocked!published at 22:53 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 0-21 Buffalo Bills

Tyler Bass lines up for a 49-yarder but, obviously concerned about the distance in this weather, goes for a low line drive and it's blocked by the Steelers - their fourth blocked kick of the season.

Even worse for Buffalo is their punter Sam Martin pulls up with what looks a hamstring problem as he tries to chase the loose ball.

That could be the spark Pittsburgh need to try and get back into the game.

Josh Allen is difficult to play against at the best of times but especially so when he's in this form.

Sure, Pittsburgh have been struggling to get first downs when in possession. But before they worry about that, they need to find a way to stall Allen and this Bills offence. Otherwise this is going to be a loooong night for the Steelers.

  18. Great play!published at 22:49 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 0-21 Buffalo Bills

Receiver/return man Deonte Harty catches a pass and then opens the taps and uses that shifty ability that makes him such a good returner to get plenty of yards after the catch and total a 33-yard gain.

  19. Bills with the ball againpublished at 22:46 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 0-21 Buffalo Bills

Phew, still trying to catch my breath after that Josh Allen score, and Pittsburgh are wobbling after being just smacked in the mouth continuously in this half.

They've had to punt again and with six minutes left in the half there's plenty of time for Buffalo to make this mauling even worse.

    It's a beatdown so far.

  20. Crushing for the Steelerspublished at 22:42 Greenwich Mean Time 15 January

    Pittsburgh Steelers 0-21 Buffalo Bills

"It’s a crushing blow for the Steelers defence. You’ve really got to find a way to tackle Allen, go for the legs. But he’s an elite athlete" - Ndamukong Suh, 2021 Super Bowl winner, on Sky Sports
