Being at home and spending time with his family is what he prefers. He's obviously spent time and money putting a long jump pit in his garden. The other guys put in big jumps here and there in the year, but it's different in the big competitions.

Greg Rutherford is continuing with his lap of honour, posing for the men with the long lenses with his union flag. There's no need for the photographers to ask the Briton to smile. Rutherford is a man who will be smiling from now until Christmas.

And he now becomes the fifth Briton to hold all four major titles at the same time, joining Jonathan Edwards, Linford Christie, Sally Gunnell and Daley Thompson.

You cannot keep winning gold medals and be lucky. The Americans didn't do it today, but that's their problem. Nobody should even hint that. On the big day he delivered when others couldn't deliver.

Winning gold means so much to Greg Rutherford. Only five Britons have done the Grand Slam, he's jumping further now, he's getting quicker and I think going into Rio you would not bet against him."

Majestic, controlled and dominant. Never as impressive as he was at the Olympics. What he did there was he proved he could win in this way. Rudisha is back and back winning gold medals - a 1:45 race where he still finished with some daylight. It's a surprise.
