That's a much better pit stop for Lando Norris of two seconds, that's a mighty stop for the McLaren mechanics.

Norris has got a healthy lead now over his team-mate Oscar Piastri.

That was a nervy moment for Oscar Piastri but he comes out of it intact and still in second place. Lando Norris is third on his mediums, Lewis Hamilton is fourth, also on the yellow rubber.

Oscar Piastri found himself in the middle of a tussle between Franco Colapinto and Yuki Tsunoda after his latest pit stop. Colapinto ran wide after trying to pass Tsunoda. The Alpine then tried to pick up the slipstream to try again, but as he moved to the right, he pushed Piastri on to the grass.

Lewis Hamilton has taken over the title of fastest man on track with his new yellow rubber, just as race leader Oscar Piastri pays a visit to the McLaren pit box.

Lando Norris is next to make his second stop of the race. Oscar Piastri takes over the lead and the Briton slips into second place.

Lewis Hamilton was having a discussion with his Ferrari engineer about extending his stint and when to pit next. It was an old message, and the camera pans back, here's the seven-time world champion to pick up some fresh mediums.

Mediums are the tyre of choice for Ferrari and Charles Leclerc heads back out in fourth place. Gabriel Bortoleto is on for his first F1 points and after another stop, the Brazilian is comes out in 10th spot.

Oscar Piastri ran slightly wide on his previous lap, too. Lando Norris is four seconds clear of the Australian, and now Charles Leclerc is called in by Ferrari from third place.

The TV cameras are onboard with Lewis Hamilton, all standard coverage, but the seven-time world champion is suddenly off the track after running wide at Turn Three, going over the kerb and into the red and white stripes. No harm, as no-one is close enough to challenge his fourth place.

The order is Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, with rookie Gabriel Bortoleto in fifth, 25 laps deep into a stint on the mediums. George Russell, meanwhile, has freshened up with some hards and is now P9.

If Lando Norris comes into the pits in the next four or five laps, he will likely slot in between these two Ferraris.

Fernando Alonso knows what it's like to battle with the younger Liam Lawson - and he wasn't too impressed the last time. The Racing Bulls driver has now moved up to seventh and Alonso eighth, as George Russell makes another pit stop.

There's a mix of strategies being played out in Spielberg: two stops and potential one stops. Oscar Piastri hits that traffic but he clears Fernando Alonso and the like without too much drama.

Engineer: "Our goal here is obvious, keep Oscar out of DRS."

Liam Lawson is being followed by the Aston Martin Fernando Alonso for ninth place, just as Lando Norris asks his engineer if Oscar Piastri is quicker everywhere. The reply is, the Australian is quicker in the high speed, but traffic is an issue on track.

When will Oscar Piastri be in a position to scrap with his McLaren team-mate again? We hope soon. The Australian is collecting fastest laps for fun at the moment.

Oscar Piastri took half a second out of Lando Norris on that last lap.

There's a mix of medium and hard tyres, now that we've reached lap 40 of 70. Lando Norris is 3.3secs clear of championship leader Oscar Piastri, his rubber four laps younger than the Briton's.

With Kimi Antonelli being out of the race it means that Mercedes as it currently stands have dropped down to third in the constructors' championship.

Ferrari have leapt up into second, and it's one point separating these two at the moment.
