Haas are watching a great little ding dong between their drivers. Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman are both in the top 10, with the Frenchman one place higher than his British rookie team-mate in eighth place.

Lewis Hamilton is doing a fairly decent job, pretty much matching the times of Charles Leclerc and quite easily keeping George Russell at bay.

The stewards have made a quick decision on that yuki Tsunoda-Franco Colapinto contact. The Red Bull is slapped with a 10-second time penalty for casing a collision.

Stint over! Fernando Alonso is called in by Aston Martin to get rid of the mediums and bolt on the hards.

The lead at the front is still in the hands of Lando Norris, who is ahead of his McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri by just under six seconds. Fernando Alonso is continuing on his long stint on the mediums in fifth.

I think Yuki Tsunoda is going to get a penalty for that.

Fernando Alonso and Liam Lawson are still out and they haven't pitted. I think they are going to go for a one-stop those two so let's keep an eye on them.

The Red Bull of Yuki Tsunoda is grappling with the Alpine of Franco Colapinto - and it's the Argentine who comes off worst. He's sent into a spin at the exit of Turn Four, while Tsunoda heads into the pits for some repairs. The Japanese driver is now last.

Pierre Gasly is annoyed on the Alpine team radio saying he has no grip. The Frenchman is still in the points in 10th place, but his team-mate Franco Colapinto is in trouble...

Lando Norris is aiming for his third win of the season from pole position - and to close the gap on his McLaren team-mate in the drivers' championship. He's out in front by six seconds from the Australian, with Charles Leclerc in third.

Lewis Hamilton, meanwhile, is having to brush off the advances of the attacking Racing Bulls of Liam Lawson four fourth.

These has been a bit of back and forth on the Sauber radio. Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hulkenberg have both made a pit stop, but now German Hulkenberg, who started last, is ahead of the Brazilian. The team give the go ahead for Bortoleto to move ahead, so now he's in eighth place.

Lewis Hamilton waves goodbye to the lead and pits for some hards, coming back into the action in sixth place. We're back to where we started: Lando Norris leads with Oscar Piastri second. As he hasn't stopped, Liam Lawson is up to third for Racing Bulls.

Essentially Oscar Piastri wants to have a bit of free air to close that gap back and manage his tyres better.

And now Ferrari make a stop for Charles Leclerc, so Lewis Hamilton temporarily leads this Austrian Grand Prix. Lando Norris is now second, Oscar Piastri is third and Leclerc rejoins in sixth place.

Oscar Piastri comes in but again, it's quite a slow stop by McLaren, the same front-left tyre causing issues as it did for Lando Norris. Piastri is now fourth, Norris is now third.

Engineer: "Let's see your pace in free air now. See what we can do."

Piastri: "Yeah OK. I have a flat spot."
